Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Georgia

My husband called and ordered a Standard Roll Cake with Chocolate Chip Ice Cream on Sunday. The information was taken down and repeated back to him. The young man did not take our name or phone number down but was told it would be ready on Tuesday. My husband called back Monday and spoke with someone else just to be sure the order was taken down correctly. He was assured it would be ready by 11:00 on Tuesday. Once again he tried to give his name and phone number and was told that it would be easy to identify because happy birthday Toni would be written on the cake. We went to pick it up and we were told that the cake baker did not come in on Monday but said she would be there today but we would need to come back and it would be ready by 2:30. We agreed. We were getting ready to leave to pick up the cake when we got a call from the baker telling me she was running late and the cake wouldn’t be ready until 4:00. She also told me that the roll cake only comes in mint chocolate chip because they are premodern.We have ordered these cakes for years and years from other Baskin Robbins Stores and have always requested chocolate chip ice cream and that’s exactly what we got. On the website it actually shows chocolate chip, not mint chocolate chip. When we initially visited the store they were completely out of chocolate chip ice cream in the freezer case so we asked about this and we were told that the ice cream truck would be making a delivery on this day and there would be plenty. After talking to the baker we cancelled our order. This was a complete disappointment all around and we will not be visiting this store again. This store needs help...

This place needs to get it together. Every time I go here they’re always focusing on the Dunkin’ Donuts side no matter what time of day it is. There’s never anyone working on the Baskin Robins side and all the employees just look at you while you stand there and wait for someone to take your order. No one asks if you’ve been helped or apologizes for the wait. They act like you’re an inconvenience just because you want to order something. This past time I went, I stood in front of the ice cream cooler for 15 minutes before someone took my order. Once they took my order and handed me my ice cream, they told me they’d ring me up on the Dunkin’ Donuts side. Well there was a line of people at the register. I stand there waiting to pay while my ice cream is melting. Once I pay, I go to get a spoon and leave. To my surprise, there’s no spoons out. I had to wait in line once again just to get a spoon and they didn’t even know where any were. They had to search for a spoon for me. All in all it took me almost 30 minutes to get a single scoop of ice cream in a cup....

As my son said, 'Stranger Things really are happening at Baskin Robbins... ". If you're coming to this location beacuse of the Stranger Things promotion you should know that they don't have any Funko Pops, they're on backorder. They didn't have any collectible coin toppers. They only had one of the two signature flavors , Eleven's Heaven, no Upside-down Praline. They didn't know what went into a Demogorgon Sundae and asked if we had a picture to show them. They were out of waffle bowls. I'm only guessing, but the couple that came in behind us wearing their Stranger Things zip up hoodies must have been really ticked off if we were just disappointed... Don't get me wrong, the staff was awesome and apologetic, but I can't remember the last time I was in a Baskin Robbins and this kinda helped me remember. Crazy to blow a promo tie-in like this and one this big. Purely a management screw up. We did what anybody would do, went home and rewatched Stranger Things from the...
