Milano’s Pizza and Italian Grill — Restaurant in Peachtree City

The restaurant has great potential, but the food is a big letdown. The service was fantastic from start to finish. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, and each course was brought out in a timely manner. The atmosphere was also very pleasant. ​Unfortunately, the food was a huge disappointment. As someone who comes from an Italian family and has worked in professional kitchens, I know what good Italian food should taste like, and this wasn't it. The cheese sticks seemed like they were a frozen product, not made in-house. The pasta sauce tasted strange, almost as if it had cinnamon and nutmeg in it, which ruined the flavor. The eggplant parmigiana wasn't cooked properly; it was soggy instead of having a firm, pleasant texture. The Cajun shrimp pasta was so overloaded with Old Bay seasoning that it tasted like nothing else. ​While the kitchen needs a lot of work, a few items were surprisingly good. The fried mushrooms, the salad, and the desserts were the highlights of the meal. It's a shame the main courses don't live up to the appetizers and desserts. I hope the owners invest in better recipes and training for their chefs, as the restaurant could be truly amazing with...

I was super excited to try Milanos tonight. Unfortunately, the only thing that tasted good was the salad. We got the mozzarella sticks (which tasted like they were frozen, they were soggy and the cheese wasn’t warm inside the stick). I got the lasagna which again tasted like it had be frozen with the cheese already on it. The cheese was so dense it made it almost impossible to swallow. Upon inspection there was really nothing in between the layers of pasta. My wife got the fettuccini Alfredo which had no flavor and the veggies in it were definitely the ones you get in the frozen foods section.

The restaurant was really nice on the inside and we didn’t wait long. Our waitress wasnt very personable and never asked how the food was or inquired why we left with most of the food still on the plate. Pretty disappointing leaving nauseous and hungry. It was pretty busy and maybe we caught them on an off night.

After reading other reviews, I wish I would have gotten a pizza or some of thing that couldn’t be...

We came to Milano’s Pizza & Italian Grille after being highly recommended by our parents, who said they had a wonderful experience just two days earlier. Unfortunately, our visit didn’t live up to that recommendation.

After being seated, we waited about 15 minutes before anyone even came by to take our drink order. It’s as if we had been forgotten about. While the food was fine once it finally came, the slow and inattentive service made the whole experience feel lackluster.

It’s disappointing because we had high hopes, and clearly good service is possible here since our parents had such a positive time. But our visit showed that great service isn’t consistent, and that inconsistency makes it hard to recommend...
