First Visit to 7 Brew Coffee – Honest Impressions
Today I visited 7 Brew Coffee for the first time and ordered a plain hot coffee—the House Blend. I always try the most basic item on the menu during a first visit, as I believe it should reflect the foundation of the brand's quality. ☕ Coffee: While the flavor profile from the Colombian, Kenyan, and Sumatra beans sounds promising, the brew itself tasted a bit diluted (watery). It may benefit from a better coffee-to-water ratio and a check on brewing temperature to better satisfy black coffee drinkers. I’m hopeful these adjustments can bring out the full character of the blend. 🔊 Pickup Experience: The music volume at the pickup window was quite loud, which made communication difficult. Lowering it slightly could improve the customer experience. 🐝 Environment: I noticed bees and other bugs flying about near the open prep area, which is understandable given the Southern climate and sweet drinks being made inside. A more enclosed setup might help minimize this and maintain a clean handoff zone. 😁 Service: Service was excellent and everyone seemed to be happy to be there and enjoying their work. ✨ Final Thoughts: I genuinely want this location to succeed—it has great potential. I encourage others to visit, enjoy, and share feedback. I’ll be returning soon to try the House Blend again, and if it’s improved, I look forward to exploring more...
Read moreI’ve never left a review but I felt the need to after our experience today. We’ve been here before with no issues but for whatever reason today the entire place and employees were a hot mess. We ordered two drinks and waited over 20 minutes with only 2 cars in front of us. We watched people in the other lane pull up and order after us receive drinks and leave before we even got ours. We counted a total of 6 cars. Then when we got to the girl to pick up our order the girls in the shop had stopped making drinks. They were dancing and talking instead all like 5 of them. We were told they forgot to make our drinks, and it was because of their new system. You can only use that excuse for so long. We’ve been told that 3 times in 2 weeks now. The manager was soft spoken and nice but clearly didn’t know how to tell her crew to get it together, we told her the issue and she didn’t seem to care at all that her crew was just standing around. We asked for a refund after almost 30 minutes and left without drinks. We will not be back until management changes or is...
Read moreThe one in Sharpsburg was terribly unprepared for this bogo 7-8pm promo. My husband got in the line at 7:05 and sat there until 8:15 before he made it up to the ordering part, where they told him that it was now past eight and so the promotion had ended. You cannot get out of the line once your are in it. They go incredibly slow, so the line doesn’t move. No way to tell you would be in it past 8, oh but once 8 hit they got to moving. Also, the employees park and block the “extra” far right lane so if you want to hop out of line you can’t. Also, if the teens who work here weren’t being silly and jumping in and out of friends cars who came up they could have gotten that line down! With Starbucks, Dunkin, foxtail, and now Tim hortons (who just opened but moved quick) only around the corners, they may want to step their service up. Very disappointing and time consuming! He would have been getting 4 drinks (4 free) but instead got zero. I won’t pay for...
