Went in solo to have lunch… this was my 2nd time coming here after not coming for two years since their opening. Reason being the first time I came, they were having drink specials on all their drinks to celebrate the Grand Opening. Drinks were just terrible… tasted like flavored water. So I didn’t go back till I seen reviews ravings their margs. Since they’re near where I live, I decided to give them another try and this time try their food too. Waitress told me they were having a special on their house margs so I decided to give in and try it. Once I got the marg, I knew it was going to be a huge disappointment. They gave me 20 oz of lime Gatorade .. decided to not make it a big deal since it was half off. Didn’t even take more than 3 sips of the drink before moving it to the side. Got steak fajita lunch special and it was decent. The service was not that good. It wasn’t crowded as it was only 1 pm on a random Weds, I was a table of one… asked the waitress for a to go box and my check. She comes back with my check and doesn’t give me a to go box. I figured maybe she will bring it afterwards. Nope. She takes my check and starts picking up my food to throw away. At this point I’m over it because it took her 20+ minutes to come back and check on me. I’ll never come back to this restaurant again and their drinks are trash. My family and I are searching for the best family-friendly restaurants in Georgia, and I think we found one. We found Tequila Sal Y Limon Mexican Restaurant in McDonough, GA. Everything was fresh and authentic, from the decor to the food.

And the prizes are affordable.

The decor is modern and inviting, with a Full Bar. Check out some of the photos I attached.

For the adults, they have one of the best margaritas In GA. And I heard TACO Tuesday with drink specials are coming. Call to ask for more information.

Custom Service was amazing; our server was amazing. She was knowledgeable about each item on the menu and interacted with my entire family while also not neglecting the other customers. Customers were interacting with each other and talking about their experiences and dishes.

The food was delicious, from the salsa and chips ( which was fresh) to the main course and dessert. They make their own corn Tortillas. For dessert we had the Fried Ice cream, which was amazing!

Update: I tried again and the service has improved greatly. I gave another star.

I wanted to give 5 stars because the food is excellent. However the service is lacking. Went in on a Tuesday night, not too busy. It took 25 minutes for someone to take our drink order. When they did, we went ahead and ordered everything. Finally after waiting a total of 35 minutes we received drinks, followed quickly by our food. Cold, thick cheese dip, I assume it sat for awhile before coming out with our dinner. (I'm really patient, I wanted to give a new restaurant a chance. I too work in the food service industry.
