Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Georgia

Initially when Tropical Cafe came to Grovetown GA off of Steiner Way, I was happy/excited. However, this particular Tropical Cafe is HORRIBLE. Over the last month, I have picked up my online order of 3 Açaí Bowls with 2 of the 3 to receive extra granola and extra honey. Each bowl received far less açaí in each bowl as compared to the others. When I complained, the employee told me it was the same amount of açaí in each bowl and the reason it looked different was bc of the way that each froze. Apparently she missed the class on freezing a liquid. Unbeknownst to her, I was previously told by an employee at this particular location that the açaí is frozen in each bowl ahead of time and the other ingredients added based upon the request of the order. Yesterday I decided to try the Tropical Cafe in Grovetown GA again. I ordered an açaí bowl with extra granola and extra honey and I rcvd what appears to be an acai bowl minus the the AÇAÍ. See Photo #2. I am livid with this particular Tropical Cafe. I do not have these issues with any other Tropical Cafe in the CSRA! Why is it even necessary for me to drive to another location to receive what I ordered and paid for because the employees at the Tropical Cafe in Grovetown not competent, don’t care or whatever the case may be?! The Tropical Cafe needs an overhaul of management and staff. It is absolutely ridiculous! Drastic changes need to be made to this particular location bc currently, it is a big disappointment to this constantly thriving...

The worst tropical smoothie I have been to, my family was excited to have a location close by our home and we go to this location frequently.. the smoothies are super inconsistent but we deal with it because the location is convenient BUT probably won’t be back after our experience this evening. The girl taking our order interrupted me while ordering saying “can I tell you No” I thought she was talking with a co worker so I continued ordering then she says “ you didn’t like my joke” so I asked was she talking to me and she said yes..I was so irritated I told her we would go elsewhere to get our dinner and be contacting management. She then said she was the manager. This location needs to be spoken to about customer service by someone and I really hope this was an immature teen rather than a manager. I would be ashamed to have someone who speaks to customer the way this girl does...

What I think about Tropical Smoothie Cafe as a previous employee who has been terminated without any apparent reason. I just recently started working there a month ago, and I would say it's the most horrible, unprofessional, and toxic job I have had. I received an email after being told to clock out early because business was "Slow," but no, they told me a lie and then proceeded to send me an email saying...

"Despite multiple discussions, your performance has not met franchise standards, particularly with timely service and minimizing distractions. To maintain team efficiency, we are removing you from the schedule permanently, effective immediately."

We wish you well in the future.

And on top of that previous employees they have fired that I know of personally have been fired unfairly and when they would email the management team they would...
