This was my 3rd time coming to this restaurant and all three visits were horrible but this last time will be last time trying Mi Rancho in Grovetown, GA. First, the service was super slow there was even a table that had to wave down another waiter because they still were not asked for their order. Now our table had 3 different waiters. One asked for our drinks, the other took our order and the last brought our food. As for the food, the best thing was the papa's locas but the baked potato that my daughter ordered taste disgusting (you know when you smell something but somehow you can taste it) well her potatoes tasted like 10day old trash. Maybe they made the potato next to the trash can or a dirty dishwasher but that did not taste like any baked potatoes I've ever had. (Even my microwave potato tasted better than that). So since that was not edible, I ordered her a soft Taco with steak. First, this Taco was big enough to fill me up (I informed the waiter that this was for my daughter since the potato did not taste good.) So, why did she bring a 5 yrs old, a taco big enough for an adult? Can someone please explain that to me? At the end of that, I thought, it's ok I can take the rest for lunch. So when the check was brought to us,the first thing I saw was that we were charged for hot sauce. Which we didn't get until after the food had been brought to us. Then, the waiter still charged us for the disgusting potato. And lastly, we were charge almost $5 for a taco that was ordered for a 5yr old. I informed the waiter that there was no way we were going to pay for a potato that did not taste good, that it didn't make sense that were getting charged for hot sauce in a MEXICAN restaurant, and that $5 was too much for a taco that she knew was for my daughter, (a CHILD). After telling her this, she just stared at me O_O with a blank stare. (It felt like she could've cared less or she was in a rush to go give some of else better service). At the end I guess I had into spell it out for her. I told her I am not paying for hot sauce (when 1st there was no type of spicy sauce at our table(just salt&pepper), or any around us for that fact, and 2nd this is a MEXICAN restaurant, how do you charge for hot sauce at a MEXICAN restaurant?) I am not paying almost $5 for a taco that was ordered for a kid, but you decided to bring out an adult taco. And I'm not paying for a potato that was disgusting. She must've snapped back into reality and said, well we don't have a kids soft Taco on the menu and the owner is the one that decides to charge for hot sauce but I'll talk to my manager about the potato. It seems like that was the only thing she talked to the manager about because that's the only thing that was taken off of the check. So their was my horrible experience. Oh, and I asked for the number of the owner and I was given a false number that doesn't ever ring and goes straight to a voicemail that has not been set up yet. I will write about my other 2 experiences soon. BTW: incase you haven't noticed I would NEVER recommend anyone to eat here whether I was compensated or not. And everytime someone I know decides to go I will let them know how horrible the customer service is and how the only good thing on the menu is some fries I can make at home....

Read moreI wish there was an option to rate zero stars. There were six people in my party (3 adults and six children). First, my girlfriend ordered a Jumbo Frozen PeachMango Margarita. It arrived and looked like it was just syrup and alcohol. Tasted that way, too. I ended up ordering her a different drink, but still had to pay for the bad one. The food, which was mediocre at best, was another issue. The brought all three adult meals out first and then took another 5 minutes for the first children's meal to come out. The adult meals sat there getting cold while we waited for the children to get theirs. I ordered the Texas Rice, which anywhere else is swimming in cheese, had very little cheese. When it got time to leave it took forever to get the check. I stopped the host and asked him for assistance and he blew me off. The waitress finally showed and asked if I wanted the check, then went and took care of a couple of other customers, then came back about 5 minutes later and asked if I wanted the check again. I finally got it. I had to go fetch my own Togo boxes. I asked for the military discount and showed my ID. She acknowledged seeing it and then refused to give me the discount. Also, before anyone says they were busy, they were not. There were a number of empty tables and no one waiting to be seated. I assure you I will never be going to this restaurant again. Not sure I will be going to any other Mi Rancho either after...
Read moreDamien - what a fitting name for the worst server I have ever encountered in my life!
My friend and I waited over an 30 minutes to get our order taken (from a different server) and waited another 30 minutes to get the bill after requesting it . Obviously frustrated since we were in a rush, my friend requested the check (even saying please!). Damien said "I'm not your server!" And had the nerve to laugh sarcastically . When our server came (he was at least polite) he told us we would take care of it and Damien the demon server said right in front of us "I did have an attitude with them because I'm not their server". We were taken a back at his rudeness for very little reason . As we work in customer service too and deal with frustrated customers - part of the job. Customer service is about making the customer happy and attempting to solve their issue whether you are the server or not.
I think this guy should change career paths - dealing with people is obviously not his forte ! We will NOT be returning to this dump- as the service here is normally poor and slow but the rudeness is why we won't...
