Waffle House — Restaurant in Georgia

Horrible experience. We went to the Waffle House at 531 Canton Highway on Sunday around 2pm. It wasn't busy at all. There were 3 other tables occupied. Our waitress was inattentive. It took her 3 trips for 5 drinks. We had our food and sat waiting for her to come back around in order to ask for silverware. In fact, we had to yell for her in order to get her attention. The grits were lumpy and cold. They were thick and gross. The waffles were burnt and hard. Now we did want one order of bacon burnt (my husband likes it that way) but we sent the other 2 orders back inorder to not get burnt bacon but it still came back burnt. We were unable to eat it. No refills. The waitress sat for half of our meal on the opposite side of the restaurant. We got 3 waffles but we had to again get her attention in order to syrup. We spent $48 for food that wasn't worth it. Then when I tried to call to store to let them know what happened it wouldn't go through. It just kept saying we no longer take to go orders over the phone. It was a very bad experience. I would not recommend...

The staff was friendly enough. The main stay of the staff though was off somewhere and left this one guy to cook and serve. When I looked at the menu the chicken sandwich I have always ordered seemed missing. There was only a bacon cheddar one listed. I asked him about ordering the plain normal chicken sandwich I had always ordered and he was unaware there was ever anything different on the menu.

I admit it has been like two or so years since I last ate at a Waffle House. I know things change but this was a bit odd.

Towards the end of my meal staff for the next shift show up openly toting Taco Bell bags. Staff members currently on duty seemed angry that the new arrivals did not call to ask for their orders too.

Mainly the only good thing I can say is that my cook/waiter was polite. He at least tried I feel like this location could probably use some help of some kind. It always shocks me when I find a Waffle House in this area so poorly run. This is by far not the worst Waffle House I have visited. It is probably in the top 20 bad waffle...

First we got in and they stared at me and my boyfriend then one person finally greeted us after sat down. Black woman in there took our order. Got it wrong. Not sure why she was convinced that me and my boyfriend said we wanted mushrooms in our hash brown bowls but we didn’t. She gave us our bowls and I explained I didn’t want mushrooms she decided to switch the bowls and my boyfriend then explained that neither of us wanted mushrooms. So they had to remake my bowl and the cook was nice about it and apologized the waitress however was rude the entire time we ate. We ordered a chocolate chip waffle. We mentioned it when we first ordered and when she remade our bowl and confirmed that we wanted it and still didn’t bring it to us. We could tell that she was irritated with us.
