Such a disappointment - it took 1 hour and 25 minutes to get meals for a table of 5 and we never spoke with the manager. I can’t imagine such unacceptable performance not being addressed directly while I was there. Let’s start with walking in just before 5 and asking if we needed reservations. “No sir, we don’t take reservations.” When I stepped back up at 5:00 and said “table for five” much discussion was had by the three people there and I was told “we’ll have to add a chair to a 4 top because all the large tables are reserved.” 🤦‍♂️Our waiter was very nice, took time to explain the menu and we ordered drinks and an appetizer right away. We were ready to order when he returned. We zero special requests and zero dietary restrictions - two burgers, shrimp poboy, not yo mama’s chicken and chicken tenders. Our chicken skin appetizer came out quickly but at 6:00 I said to our waiter “we are in here an hour and no food - what’s up?” That’s when the excuses and sincere lack of care really came forward. His first answer was “all the orders come in at once and overwhelm the kitchen” to which I replied “so you’re not going to check?” He finally agreed to check and then came back a few minutes later with “your check was out of order somehow so it’s 10 more minutes before it’s ready.” 🤔 While we were waiting he came back out and shared the kitchen staff was short due to Covid and actually had the nerve to suggest that next time we order bottles of wine versus by the glass to which one of the ladies replied “we had no intention of staying here this long.” When our food finally came out he said “the manager said I can offer you two free desserts for your long wait.” In retrospect - the entire table seemed to agree that he likely never put our order in until I said something to him. It’s the classic restaurant horror story - watching table after table that came in after you getting and eating their food while you sit there with nothing. The people who were behind us at 5:00 got their food, ate and left before our food got to our table!! On to the food which was quite good overall. In the land of $15 hamburgers being the norm I look for flavors and combinations to really have them stand out and wasn’t disappointed with the farmhand burger. The take on fries was interesting and tasty. Everything was served hot and fresh and my only knock was the highway robbery of $9 for 4 chicken skins as an appetizer. I’d skip that. I hate writing bad reviews on small businesses but this adventure hit a level of ridiculousness and uncaring that I haven’t seen in a long time. Truly sad…

The food, atmosphere and service is great-and I just wanted everyone to know how much the manager(Zach) and the owner (Matt) did for me and my family. After they found out my mother passed away just before Thanksgiving and how much me and my wife were struggling with our 3 children(1 who is a verbal autistic boy-Eli). They went so far out of their way for us-that my wife cried(multiple times) and I was left on my knees praying🙏. Why they made this a Christmas we will never forget-ever. The owner was so gracious and kind-you have no idea!!! And even with them (???)we have been in a severe financial situation and our Christmas was ruined completely and we are still struggling so bad!!!!) that we are praying for them and their families-for their health and wealth of course and their emotional well being. Please try the Slicibility upstairs it is autistic people making pizzas(we hope 1 day for Eli our son will work there). I’m praying also that they prosper from now until next Christmas and beyond!!!! God will of course come down and take care of me and my family because we are children of God and we follow the Golden Rule-DO UNTO OTHERS-AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU!!!! Peace and Love to You All!!!!

Excellent dinner! We ate here on a weeknight and it was our first time. We were seated by the bar which was cozy and quiet. The service was great and the food was even better. We shared the Bourbon Barrel Mussels and they were excellent. We each ordered something different so we could have several "samples" off the menu. I ordered the Shrimp Po Boy (fried option) and it was amazing. Shrimp cooked perfectly, very light breading and the smoked tomatoes put this over the top for me. My husband ordered the Pitchfork hamburger and it was huge! Cooked exactly to the temperature that he ordered it. Very juicy and delicious. My daughter ordered the Ranchero salad and she said her steak was cooked perfectly to her order. We also had a cocktail, wine, and beer which were all great. All the staff we encountered were very pleasant and attentive. We will definitely be coming back to try some of the other offerings from their menu very soon.

I wanted to find a place to celebrate my fiancé's graduation party. I unfortunately did not have time to even visit in Homestead in person before the date, but I was so overly happy with how everything turned out. We rented out the upper part which is called the loft. Lolli took care of absolutely everything I needed or asked for. She worked with me on getting a deposit and pricing. The restaurant is located at the entrance of the City center. There is tons of parking available for any vehicle as well.

When you walk into the restaurant, there is main dining seating on the level ground. The event space/ "The loft" was up a wide flight of stairs. Once up there, it was cozy and large enough for a group of at least 30. There was plenty of seating and multiple TV's. Right now it is decorated for the holidays. It is nice and warm on the inside, but you can also walk out to the balcony to an amazing view. There is also a bathroom up in the loft so you do not have to leave the loft area unless you want to.

Loli helped put together a menu and idea selection for what my vision was. They have great catering options available. While we ended up just using the standard dinner menu because it was more informal, the food was fantastic. Each appetizers were more than enough for a group of people. The egg rolls and pimento cheese were a big hit. The food was cooked perfectly and brought out quickly. A lot of people had the burgers because they are such a great size, and the fries were great with it. The kitchen were even able to create a desert cake the day of the actual party when I called to ask.

The bartender and service was beyond amazing. There are any kind of fountain drinks, beer, wine, spirits, and even non-alcoholic beer which was a hit. I hate that I can't remember her name at this time! We are even looking at booking the area for a bridal shower in the future. Everything could not have gone better for us that night. Thank you to Loli, our bartender, and the whole staff for making that night one...

My wife and I were joining 3 friends to celebrate a birthday. Our hosts were already seated when we arrived. The hostess informed us that our server would be over in a bit but after waiting 10 minutes I went back to the hostess stand to ask them to send our server to the table. The server did come shortly after that and took our drink order. However she returned after another 10 minutes apologizing that the drinks were not yet ready as the sole bartender was swamped as the bar was full. The server then suggested she take an appetizer order and we ordered the Charcuterie platter and Brussel Sprouts. Our drinks finally arrived after another 10 minutes, however after serving them the server informed us that they were out of "Charcuterie", so we then ordered Mussels appetizer instead. The Brussel Sprouts were delivered first but we had to wait a bit to eat them as they had not provided plates. Everyone enjoyed the Brussel Sprouts as they were cooked well and tasted great. The Mussels arrived a few minutes later and unfortunately were not very good as they were quite rubbery and the bourbon cream sauce they were lathered in had a very sour taste. Our entrees arrived after another long wait. The Fried Chicken and Trout entrees were well received. I had ordered the flat iron steak but instead received a NY Strip. The steak was cooked correctly and was tasty, however the compressed potato with the mushroom demi was disappointingly bland. My wife and I were still halfway thru our entrees when the server insisted on taking a dessert order. As such, we did not order desserts or after dinner drinks. Our server had noticed that we were celebrating a birthday and she brought out a complimentary Tabletop S'mores dessert which the table enjoyed.

Overall our dining experience was somewhat disappointing. Our server was friendly but clearly not well trained. The food quality was mixed and the restaurant was not staffed sufficiently to handle the volume. We likely...
