Although I think it praise worthy that the owner employees those who would be mostly turned aside, I can't ignore the issues at hand. The design of this resturant is beyond flawed. Only two couples can stand inside the door way until they hit the order counter. People must wait outside. If you need to fill your cup you must pass through the line that's waiting at the door then stand in the drink line that cuts through the line at the door that then starts another line. The seating area for the resturant is beyond ridiculous. Who ever thought of this design just cost the owner or she cost herself. The only real seating is outside. It's terribly hot inside this resturant also. Now the pizza is equivalent to a Red Barron Frozen Pizza taste. It's greasy and the bottom is dark brown. Read moreReally cute area! But as soon as my friend and I went into the restaurant, we were harassed by a staff member with Down syndrome. Apparently his idea of being a “door greeter” (as another member called him) was to cat call me and my friend. We did our best to ignore him, but then he proceeded to come up and continue to make us both uncomfortable. No other employees said anything about his behavior. We figured we might as well try the food since we were there. Can’t say it was anything special. The only thing that stood out to me was the burnt cheese on the sides of the slices. Read moreReally like this place and it’s food. However, better training and Quality Assurance is needed. Ordered a single slice to try and it was off the charts great. Came back for a whole cheese pizza and big difference in low amount of cheese and cheese not placed right up to back circular crust, compared to single slice. About a 2 inch gap from back end of crust all around the pizza.
Please remember the bar is high on quality expectations at your restaurant when one is paying almost three times the cost of a pizza compared to a chain store competitor about one mile east of your restaurant.
