Went to the restaurant for the first time yesterday. First off, the staff behind the counter were giving customers attitude, not a single smile among the 4, and acting like it was an inconvenience to take our orders. My friend ordered a quesadilla, and the staff member was rude the entire time she was making it. I ordered the empanadas, which took 10 minutes for them to make. I stood at the pick-up area waiting with the staff staring at me the whole time, no updates, no communication, nothing. Finally, my friend came and got me, saying the order was brought to the table. The staff is still standing there staring at me. OK... Sit down and eat the empanadas. They are store-bought frozen empanadas that they've reheated. Very poor quality, more potatoes in them than meat. $16 for frozen garbage empanadas, a side of lettuce (salad?), and a drink. I go to eat the salad and a little baby grasshopper crawls out of salad and across the table. This tells me not only do they have bugs in their lettuce, they didn't even wash it before serving it. I throw the whole mess away. When we go to leave, 3 staff are blocking the exit having a private conversation. We have to wait on them to end their discussion, completely oblivious to anyone else around them. I have zero idea how this place got such a good rating, other than location to the amphitheater. I'm sure they make a killing serving this garbage food to the drunks watching the bands play. I will never set foot in any of their...
Read moreFood was absolutely disgusting (all 9 of us said it at the same time). Empanadas and churros discussing (kids didn’t eat and us adults after tasting said no don’t eat. Seemed very frozen/processed not remotely fresh. Meats had no seasoning. I had steak nachos and the steak looked like it was chewed on. It was an absolute waste of money for our group and not to mention a waste of food. It went in the trash for the flies. Yes, flies are everywhere but not necessarily the restaurants control. The bathrooms definitely could have been looked after better. The public restrooms outside the place were cleaner. The person that cleaned the tables did a great job. That is one good thing I noticed. They had a lot of customers - very busy since it was Christmas in July. Great business evening but under utilized to show a great tasting place. Was not tasty at all. Let’s see if they remove this truthful review. Not impressed...
Read morefirst off my experience had nothing to do with the food. Strictly the frozen drinks side. My husband and I went to city Center to meet my daughter and her boyfriend who were having lunch with his mom at los Rios. We were at crooked culture waiting. I phoned my daughter and asked her to bring me a house frozen margarita. She bought me the $17.99 margarita and brought it to crooked culture. After the first sip, I should’ve immediately walked back to Los Rios to get something else but I didn’t. I maybe waited 10 minutes and decided I just couldn’t drink it. It was horrible tasting. I went down to swap out my $17.99 drink and the woman said she could not do that for me. I was very upset and she could care less. DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON A FROZEN DRINK UNLESS THEY WILL LET YOU...
