Really odd visit on Thursday of last week. It was 4:30pm and I opted to go thru the drive thru. Placed my order and waited 5 minutes to get to the drive thru window. Greeted and paid for my food. Then told that my hamburger was cooked but to pull up and it will be out in a moment. I told her I would wait. She then asked me to pull forward. Something was not right??? Waited 4 minutes and decided to go in the restaurant. There was another customer that greeted me and stated he had been waiting for 20 min. I saw the door going back was open and seeing 3 other cars had been asked to pull ahead, I stuck my head in the door and asked for the manager. A woman by the name of Evonne then asked what I needed? “I would like a refund” and she SNAPPED! She said, “stop! You did not say please”! I said excuse me? She stated that I must say please! I was beyond surprised she was using reverse discrimination against me! I then smiled and stated to her magesty that I will not beg for the queen to refund my meal that she did not supply. I asked for the corporate phone number. She then told one of the 5 girls standing around her to call the cops! You got to be kidding me??? I never threatened anyone. Never raised my voice. I called Wendy’s corporate and left a review with their customer service hotline number. Never heard from the franchise owner. I guess after 100+ visits to this restaurant it will be my last. They stole my money, threatened me with calling the law, and reverse discrimination. Wish the morals of Dave Thomas was evident at...
Read moreI made a mobile order before I got there in hopes that I could speed things up. That was a mistake and it actually increased my wait. I pulled in the parking lot at about 6 PM. The amount of time it took to get to the box was probably about 10 minutes with like 3 people in front of me. Then once I parked to wait on my food I spent, no joke, 30 more minutes... just waiting.
At 6:40 I decided to walk in and check up on things. Apparently they had just finished, but an employee told me that they were out of Coke in the kitchen machines so told me to check the fountain in the dining room. No Coke there either. I've been at this Wendy's for like 50 minutes at this point and they brought out what was presumably all of my food. So I grabbed it all and went home. When I got home I figure out about HALF of the order just isn't there.
I'm a fairly frequent customer to this Wendy's, and 9 times out of 10, something crazy like this happens. It's always quite a wait for food and order accuracy tends to be lacking. I worked at Chick-fil-A for a bit so I get how it can be working fast food; therefore I try my best to be patient and understanding when inconvenient things happen. But I have to draw the line with this particular experience. Idk what the issue is, whether it's employment, management, inventory, whatever, but until these issues are addressed I will avoid returning to this restaurant...
Read moreWe arrived at 8:30 and despite the dining room being open for two hours the door was locked. We had to go to the other side of the building to the only unlocked door. We only knew that because the girl in the McDonalds drive thru leaned out the window to tell us instead of the two employees sitting in the dining room getting up to open the door. I took my daughter to the men’s room because the family bathroom was occupied. There was no paper towel in the bathroom so we had to dry our hands on my pants. We waited at the counter for a couple of minutes before finally one of the woman got up and stood in the dining room asking if she could help me. I said yes. Then we stared at each other awkwardly for a few moments. She then walked around the counter and took our order. We weren’t offered a drink carrier for our four drinks so luckily my three year old was able to help carry the food. I would have asked but at the time I felt like any request was just too much to ask. My mom waited a long time for an employee to finally exit the family bathroom so she could change my two years son. He was in there for about 30 minutes. It was the only bathroom with a changing table. We were the only customers that I saw during the whole 45 minutes experience. I think I know why everyone was going to McDonalds despite no...
