Flies flies flies flies and more flies 🪰
I recently visited your Wendy's location on a road trip, and while the front staff was super kind, I did have some concerns. The lady at the drive-through window, however, was a different story - she told everyone to "shut the f up ," while I was waiting for my food, which was quite unprofessional but honestly it’s fast food and don’t really expect much. I get it. I’m not a Karen I SWEAR. The fries were okay, but what really caught my attention and is my MAIN CONCERN was the overwhelming number of flies inside and outside the building. Even with summer approaching, the sheer amount of flies was alarming. As someone with almost five years of experience in the food industry, I've never seen anything like it. From fast food to sit down restaurants, I have plenty of experience. The lobby was covered in flies, I don’t even know if covered fully explains the amount of them, this also did make me wonder about the state of the food preparation area. It’s not like the flies where stationary in the lobby they where literally everywhere. Seriously, something needs to be done about the fly infestation. It's not only disgusting but also unappetizing. I understand that occasional issues can arise, but this seems like a persistent problem that needs attention. There are way to many to just be a one time thing from big fruit flies to the tiny nats. I hope you take my feedback seriously and take steps to address this issue. Again I’m not a Karen or some old lady that likes to complain about annything under the sun, but files common, to the extent they where im actually disgusted. Sorry Wendy’s someone needs...
Read moreIf I could give this no star rating, I would this is the second time after two years of being back that I have had trouble with Wendys The first time a manager who I know from my past literally told her employees to ignore me Before I left this specific individuals daughter was told not to come by my job because she was trying to start drama with one of my employees whenever they went through the drive-through and planned on coming over there to start drama with me as well
When brought up to another manager And followed up on, the Manager said they haven’t had time to talk about it becuase the GM is on vacation Ok so I let it go…
Then today I go and they messed up my burger twice!! I asked for a JBC STD Burger build no tomato Which means standard burger build Lettuce,Tom, onion, pickle, ketchup, mayonnaise and mustard They gave me a normal JBC with onion and extra mustard When rolling up to the window they were in a group facing away from the window laughing and cutting up We then (kinda viciously) backed back into the drive thru (as we’ve had trouble in the past and really wanted to grab their attention) told them the order was wrong and and they remade it right but handed it to me with a conniving smile I then told them there was an STD button they could use after repeating myself 3 times before about no tomato they put tomato on it and I honestly didn’t even have the energy to deal with them again when I could just take it off at home
As an individual who has worked at several Wendy’s over the past 2 years and in this industry this is ridiculous not even just the food but straight up lack of...
Read moreWhen my boyfriend and I arrived at this Wendy’s, we drove into the drive-thru for convenience. The line was about 6 cars deep before the ordering box. I decided to go inside and see if the wait inside was shorter. Upon entering the building, I noticed two small parties in line before myself and 4 parties waiting on food. While waiting in line, three individuals brought back incorrect orders which were resolved eventually, but took several attempts. I also noticed that of the 5 employees I saw working and handling food only two wore gloves. I asked the cashier when it was my turn to have them put on gloves, but that did not happen. I had to correct the cashier upon her repeating my order back to me, but when my food eventually came out it was correct. I requested my food be placed in a bag and the cashier/food handler without gloves stared at the food before I physically moved the food myself.
While I was observing this inside, my boyfriend stayed in the drive-thru line for 10 minutes which did not move. I called him out of the line as I was able to order first, so he parked and waited another ten minutes for me to return to the car with food.
This experience was not a total disaster, but I have had much better interactions at other Wendy’s. I tried to submit this on the Wendy’s portal, but my “session timed out” and I honestly don’t have the patience to go through the process...
