I get my daughter every weekend and pretty much only eat out when she's with me. We live close to the base so our options are limited to Domino's, Taco Bell and Wendy's where we can make it home before the food cools down. Recently we went through the Wendy's drive-thru and ordered two combos but only received one order of fries. I discovered this because anytime we go out and pick up food I have her check the bag before we leave the parking lot. So I just drove back around to the speaker and the nice lady on the speaker said hold for 1 minute. When she came back I said that we had just came through and got our order but were missing an order of fries to which someone behind her then exclaimed "missing an order of fries?!" The nice lady who had taken my payment earlier then said you can just drive around to the second window. There was a car there when I pulled around so I got behind it and began to wait again for the fries I had already paid for. A Spanish looking lady who I guess was the manager peeked around the corner of the first window 3 times looking like she was getting ready to do a drive by. She then came to the second window to ask me what my order was and left. After waiting for the other car to get their food we were able to pull forward only for the same lady who came to ask what the order was to be pinching the bag of fries between her thumb and index fingers, hanging her arm out the window and almost shooing us away as she growled thank you have a good night at my daughter and I on the way by. I don't know why she was mad at me for them forgetting my fries and I wouldn't have posted had she given me a real apology but next time somebody's getting a stone cold stunner, and that's the...
Read moreIt seems like the quality of this location diminishes with each visit. On my last trip, I simply went back for a replacement Biggie bag. Despite the meal being free, it wasn't worth the gas I used to pick it up. During my last experiences, I specifically asked for fresh food and waited longer. However, both the service and the food was cold. While waiting behind another customer, I witnessed three employees laughing and talking instead of contributing to assisting customers. Then I reached the second window and was of course asked to pull forward to continue to wait. I advised the manager on duty that it's not conducive for waiting customers to see employees not working. He in turn told me the employees were "order takers." I was thoroughly disappointed with this response. That statement led me to believe the management team is inefficient and/or incompetent based on the fact that there would never be a reason to have three employees scheduled and assigned to complete the same task. Moreover, a manager making excuses for employees not working is never a good thing. The employee that brought my cold replacement meal, didn't have enough customer service skills to even say anything to me. There was no, "have a nice day," "thank you for you patience," "hi," "bye"... absolutely nothing. Which is on par with the employees from the visit prior who didn't make a single part of that four piece Biggie Bag correctly; this included the drink. To add insult to injury, they never once offered any form of apology. You would think the location located right next to the corporate office would have...
Read moreI try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt when it come to food service jobs and hospitality or anything having to do with customer service. I went to this Wendy’s a few weeks ago when they still had tenders, had to be late March. I was told when I placed the order at the drive through that it would be 7 minutes. We had a line, so I was fine with that. It had to have been 10 minutes before I made it to the window, waited about 5 minutes at the window, was told to move up and waited an additional whooping 20 minutes. I ended up walking in and asking where my food was and the tenders were just sitting there near the fries already in their containers ready to go so why did 7 minutes turn to 35? Decided to give them another chance tonight and I ordered two 6 six price nuggets, they got that right (how can you mess up nuggets) and ordered specifically! A spicy chicken sandwich, burger build, no mayo, mustard, or ketchup. She repeated it back to confirm and guess what was in my bag. A regular crispy chicken sandwich smothered in mayo with one piece of lettuce and one piece of a tomato. Not spicy in the slightest way. Like yeah we know what you ordered but we don’t care, we’re just gonna give you this anyway. I didn’t realize it until I got home and I wasn’t about to drive all the way back over there. Didn’t even get a receipt and come to think of it, the order machine that shows what you order wasn’t even working. I won’t be going back to this Wendy’s. If I could have picked no stars,...
