Situation- I went to the restroom. I saw the owner looking at me weird. I acknowledged her with a head nod while I was on the phone.
After using the restroom, I got the sense she wanted me to buy something since I was there and used the restroom. I did, I purchased baked beans.
Problem: She give me my baked beans and they were cold. I felt the container and opened to verify what I felt. I said, Maāma, these are cold. She said, you want them hot? We serve them cold. Really?
I stated, maāma, I would like my money back. I glanced at the other customer in line at the counter and we both acknowledged that wasnāt right (nonverbal eye contact). She said, I can warm them up. I said, no thank you.
She said you should have ordered something and not just come to use my restroom.
What she assumed and expected from me was like the other three male customers before me to order wings with an average spend of $10.
I did maāma, I ordered baked beans which I give money for and you give me a receipt.
Another customer witness this transaction and exchange too and we both left.
My money matters too!
If YOU get nasty terrible service like this, donāt you dare support or condone this type of behavior. Take your community back and replace that business with someone who cares about your neighborhood (preferably someone from your community) who clearly illustrates through their actions, how patrons deserve to be treated regardless of the amount spent. My $2.12 spend could have ended up being hundreds of dollars during this college football playoffs...

The only times I wasnāt as happy with my order as I could be is when I asked for extra veggies and they gave me the normal amount as before in a past order when I ordered everything as is. However, I brought this to their attention the next time I ordered and they made sure to get it right and has been right ever since! I usually order Hibachi Chicken & Steak with no rice. There is a lady that works there that suggests itās enough for 2-3 meals but Iām a glutton and athlete lol and I usually eat it all in one setting! š The reason I changed my review from 5 stars to 4 is because of the packaging. EVERYTIME I order, and I order at this place a lot, the juice from my meal leaks and destroys the napkins and menu. They prepack each bag with the napkins and menu at the bottom. Perhaps they should just place them on top from now on. I know if the contents are juicy, there is a huge possibility it will leak. Thatās understandable, but maybe they shouldnāt put the napkins and menu at the bottom. If they do that, then all will be well. I guess I could just ask them not to do that when I come for my order and see...

Itās flavorless the rice is plain with not too much seasoning. The veggies are bland as hell. The chicken is cooked right but just doesnāt have a good flavor to it. Itās not terrible but it really lacks flavor. Compared to a lot of hibachi places around. Iāve tried it 3x and the last time i got wings the wings had a weird flavor to it. Like the chicken itself. Then the portion size was terrible last night. Not enough chicken or shrimp. Shrimp tasted like tap water. What the hell is that?! And the prices on uber eats are double what youāre paying at the location. I get it. Itās a business. But they can really learn better flavor profiles. The yum yum sauce is thin and doesnāt have the yum yum sauce taste. And the teriyaki sauce is just as bad. I hope yall go back to the drawing board and try to improve. B/c itās so bland...
