Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Georgia

I placed a curbside pickup order and it said it would be ready by 12:35pm. I arrived at the Brown bridge location at 12:33pm. I answered “I’m here” in the app and when it asked what parking spot I was in I entered “1” and proceeded to wait. The location was not busy. I waited for 17 mins no one brought my order out. I was going to call but this location usually doesn’t answer the phone so I went inside. I saw what looked like my order sitting behind the counter on top of what looked like a microwave. No one was at the counter placing an order and there were too young ladies behind the counter and saw me come in and they just carried on with their personal conversation and a few minutes later one of the young ladies wearing glasses asked if she could help me. I told her I had a curbside order and had been waiting outside for 15 mins and no one has come yet. She looked confused like she didn’t know what I was talking about or where my order was. I pointed at the order sitting on top of what looked like a microwave on the left side behind the counter and asked if that was it and she was like oh and walked over grabbed it and sat it on the counter. I checked to make sure everything was in the bag before I left. I proceeded to leave and by the time I got to my car I decided to try and call and speak with a manager because this situation was not acceptable. I called and someone actually answered the phone. I asked to speak to a manager and was put on hold. Someone picked up and I asked “whom am I was speaking with” and they didn’t say anything and put me back on hold again. Then someone else picked up the phone and I thought they said their name was Marie. I asked if they were the manager and they paused then said “yes” so I’m not sure if they were actually the manager or not. I asked for the corporate number and she told me she didn’t have it with her nor did she offer to get it. So I said your name is Marie correct and she said no it’s Ray. I told her I would reference her name in the complaint. By the time I got home my food was soggy, mushy and cold. It sat in the restaurant parking lot for at least 15 mins, 5 mins inside and it took me 10 mins to get home. I couldn’t eat the sandwich meal I ordered because the bread was soggy and there was so much ranch dressing everywhere I ended up throwing it away and eating a bowl of cereal instead. A waste of money. The chicken fingers plate meal was barely warm and soggy so we had to reheat it in the air fryer. If I wanted to cook I wouldn’t have ordered food. I also understand things happen but this was uncalled for and a poor excuse of customer service and quality of product not to mention a waste of money. Update July 1st now and I'm in the hospital and they confirmed it was food poisoning.

Yesterday afternoon, 6/29 i ordered online a large fry for my friend and a nibbler meal with a strawberry lemonade. It was my first meal & only meal of the day. I was craving that nibbler for weeks & when i arrived to pick up my food in the store, the smell hit me first, its smelled like dirty mop water. My first instinct was you probably shouldn't eat here because it smelled so rank but i already paid and the food was waiting in the pickup area. I noticed my cup didn't have the strawberry lemonade so i went to the counter & asked if they could make my drink, while they were making my drink i noticed my friends fries weren't in the bag so i proceeded to ask them about the fries. Slight annoyance the staff in the back went to put together fries while i waited for my drink & fries. I asked about honey mustard, they said they didn't have any & i left out with the food. I was so hungry i sat with my friend in the car and tore that little nibbler and fries up. I left the 2 nibblers for later because we had an hour drive ahead of us. 15 min into our drive on highway 20, i had stomach pains, i tried to ignore it, until it got increasingly worse & my friend noticed. The highway had a bunch of construction being done so i couldn't pull over anywhere but the pain was so intense i felt like i was going to pass out. I managed to pull over with barely enough room to open my car door because the highway was so tight due to construction and before i knew it, my body gave out & it was doing a projectile of everything i ate to the point i saw white and i knew i was going to pass out. It was awful, my friend had to climb in the back Seat to let me move into passenger seat because again we were too close to the highway for me to open my car door. The drive home was painful my insides felt like someone was squeezing every organ in me. When i got home and had to move, my body went out again & at this point i was vomiting bile because there was nothing left. I called the store to give them a heads up, they stated that they haven't had anyone else call with those issues but i am writing this just in case someone else did call. I still can't eat anything, my stomach is still in pain & my plans were ruined for this weekend because i i didn't trust my intuition when i walked into that store & it smelled like they been cleaning counters and floors with the same dirty water.
