I am throughly disappointed in the customer service received after I called the restaurant. So, co-worker so kindly went to Zaxby's for me and I asked for a House Salad with blackened chicken. Drive thru attendant repeated the order and when the co-worker got to the window he paid and told me he said he didn't need the receipt because of course he thought it was correct. By all of our surprise, there was NO CHICKEN on the salad. So I called and spoke with the manager and explained everything. Come to find out they don't have blackened chicken anymore but shouldn't have the person taking the order said that so I could have said grilled is fine. Instead, I got charged the full price for a house salad with NO CHICKEN. The manager that answered put me on hold, then another person got on the phone by Hozey Thomas who stated he was the General Manager. He proceeds to tell me to bring the salad back and the receipt. Sir, I'm working and needed to eat so I'm not bringing the salad back plus WHT would I do that so y'all can do something nasty to the salad and give it back to me. And I explained that my coworker didn't get the receipt. Like who the hell would go to all this trouble to call back if it wasn't legitimately a real issue, I got a salad with NO CHICKEN and that's what your restaurant services. I mean really what happen to the customer is always right, see this is why I love Chick-fil-A because a manager and definitely not the general manager would have argued with the customer. At no time did either of those individuals say "my apologies, we are sorry to hear that, let me figure something out". Zaxby's y'all need...
Read moreNormally my experiences at Zaxby’s are really good a five star or better but today when I went through the drive through during my lucnh at this location it wasn't. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. Trusting the people inside got my order correctly I proceeded on back to work. When I got to work I noticed that the chicken sandwich I ordered had no chicken, just bread and lettuce. When I called about my concerns, the manager on duty laughed about the situation. When I asked to speak to the owner she said there was one it’s a franchise situation and she said it with a sarcastic attitude. The Manager on duty did offer during the call for me to come back in and or take my personal information down but due to her jovial attitude due to my ruined lunch I didn’t want to give her my personal information. I’ve gone to a lot of Zaxby’s over the years and was never treated so rudely. When I brought this to her attention she tried to save the call and offer me someone else to speak to and I refused. I contacted zaxbys and the store manager, Hose, called me (not exaggerating) MINUTES later with the phone number I had entered for contact. He told me to come in the next day whenever I was free to pick up some free food, and I told him I'd be there at 12:45. Had a horrible day at school & ended up not getting there until 1:00 but Hose made that grilled chicken sandwhich for me in minutes. See, I've been coming to this store for a while, ordering the same thing online; anxiety problems make ordering online an amazing alternative as if I'm in a particularly anxious mood I can just grab it and go without having to interact.
