Red Curry Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Georgia

This spot is so close to home but have never tried it until today! The location is small and intimate, and has a very stylish modern interior. We sat inside for dinner, but there is also cute patio seating out front!

We were greeted by the server (Unfortunately did not catch her name) who was very patient and kind. She checked on us throughout our meal and we also overheard her interactions with the other guests, which were equally as pleasant. The service was quick and well-timed, as soon as we finished our starters, the main course was served!

We ordered the spring rolls and roti for starters, and both dishes were beautifully presented! At first glance, I thought the appetizer portions were a little small, but they made up for it in flavor. The masaman curry dipping sauce was delicious with the crispy roti, and the spring rolls had a very nice crunch to them.

For entrees, I ordered the chicken pad Thai, and my date got the yellow curry. The pad Thai serving was very filling, enough to take home leftovers, which I am excited to have again for lunch tomorrow! The noodles had a subtle sweetness, and the chicken was tender. The yellow curry had a light, warm spice to it, not an overpowering flavor as I've had with other curry, and the portion was also very filling.

The only thing that I did not like was the Thai tea, which was a little too sweet for my tastes, but it was still very good.

We will definitely be coming back to...

4 Stars. Our meal was very good. Flavorful and classic Thai. The restaurant, however, is quite small and had a number of service issues on the night we went. There were 3-4 people trying to do TOO much... seat people, take orders over the phone, clean tables, handle takeout, deliver food to tables, refill drinks, greet people at the door… And it became overwhelming to them. As a result, the small restaurant felt a bit chaotic. Everything took a little longer than it should. Most patrons, it appeared, had been here before, and did not mind how busy the staff was. However, as a new customer, I think they need to have a permanent person at the front door and a bigger staff who is organized better to deliver high quality service. We almost left because it took them so long to clean the table that we were waiting for.

I can recommend this restaurant. And, it probably is a better experience when they are not totally busy on a Friday (or Saturday) night. But in the restaurant business, you had better figure out to do well on Friday and Saturday night!

I work near this place and it was always our go to for Thai until today. They just lost some very loyal customers. My co workers and I usually order from here multiple times a week. The woman answering the phones and taking orders is extremely rude. We ordered today and both orders were wrong and when I called to let them know I was yelled at and hung up on, then the woman told my co worker when she came back to pick up the second order that I was rude. All I did was call to let her know the order was wrong and she cut me off by yelling “I said I would remake it!” Then she said something in a different language then hung up on me. Terrible customer service. Never apologized for the mistake.
