All right let's start with the least important thing here, atmosphere looks like somebody opened up a place and didn't have any money for any furniture so there's two tables one booth definitely designed to not encourage people to hang around. Now let's get to the important thing. I have been to several of these locations. I used to enjoy the one on Cobb parkway. I've visited this location 3 times and when I'm hungry for a lox bagel I tend to forget previous disappointing experiences. So, this morning I stopped in with a friend and order a Nova Lox everything toasted all the way extra capers. When I'm spending the price that they charge for a Lox everything bagel all the way toasted it should come out looking like the picture with a reasonable but not heaping mound of cream cheese on both slices, thinly sliced purple onion, thinly sliced tomatoes, thinly sliced smoked salmon, a fresh firm but soft bagel...But everything on this thing was so chunky🥺 I can't even bite through it. The bagel was hard...like really hard, the Nova lox is thick instead of thinly sliced the onions are big chunks, the tomatoes are nearly 1/4 inch thick. There's no way to neatly eat this and it's so hard I can't even use a knife and fork to cut the bread. I I don't plan on coming back, there are other great options in the area. Just be aware that best this place is inconsistent.

Like many of us, road-warriors, the crave hits you at a stoplight and you are really wanting a yummy toasted bagel sandwich. Which is what I was on the hunt for before my Friday started. Decided to hit this place versus Goldberg’s up the street And the place was a bit dingy. Service was excellent and friendly staff. Ordered and everything bagel with egg white and avocado and was a fairly quick order. Was shocked to see my walk out the door price was almost $15 including tip. The bagel sandwich was fairly decent, but felt the everything had too much salt on it. Nevertheless, it was an OK experience, but not giving it four stars because the price was so expensive. I’ve had much better bagel sandwiches in New York that were twice the size and 1/2 the price - but who’s counting. This is East Cobb and you get what you get I guess. UPDATE: I’ve added my review for Goldberg’s up Johnson Ferry for comparison.

Really 4.5 stars b/c of a few caveats. Really like the concept, store layout/decor and the staff is super welcoming and accommodating. I got the lox bagel (plain) and asked them to double toast it. Most places barely toast a bagel. I like mine to be "browned" so they double toasted it which made it pretty darn hard. That's on ME NOT THEM. Next visit, I'll just go with a single pass. The bagel was huge so it overwhelmed the cream cheese and lox and onion. I'd suggest more of all three, particularly the cc "schmear". Finally, the tomato wasn't all that and was barely tasted. Good tomatoes are hard to find. I prefer the TN variety but it wasn't distasteful. Maybe switch to Campari tomatoes? They rock. The pleasant surprise were the hash browns because at $10, it's not a "cheap" sandwich. In summary, recommended. I will be back. PS: Get little labels so I can identify the bagels!

….and another update. My son wanted me to give them one more try so we put in an order for one bagel sandwich online for him, through the link on their website. I get a text confirmation and head to the restaurant. At the specified pickup time I arrive and walk in. There are 3 employees, no other customers. And yet, they had not even seen my order come in and insisted there was no online order. The girl at the counter suggested I put it in for the wrong location. Until they checked the system and saw my order sitting there in the queue, still waiting to be made. Then they made it, but again, this place is just the worst. I can’t be the only one that has service this bad, there’s no way this place is going to stay open very long, at this rate..

Update—either they are still understaffed or poorly managed. I entered an online order 35 mins ago, get here to pick up and there is no place to get it. So I have to stand in the very long line just to get my food that I ordered online so I could avoid the line. So bad. They should be considerate of all their customers.

Clearly understaffed. They really need to stop taking call in orders. There are 10 people in line and a person just called in and they took their order over the phone using the single register while the rest of us—who had been waiting in line already for 10 mins—sat waiting for them to finish so we could actually order. Not well...

I come to this spot a lot because it’s so close to my home. I was sent a $10 off coupon to my email for being a part of their rewards program so I came in today to get a bagel with cream cheese and a coffee. I didnt spend any money because the coupon covered at all, which was nice. I ordered at 1030 and left at 11:20 empty-handed. The staff seemed overwhelmed, but you can see right into their open kitchen and I noticed that there was only four tickets on the line at a single time. I watched as customers who arrived before me, waited and waited and waited, and customers who arrived after me, were served first. There seems to be no organization to their process, and the employees didn’t seem to know what was going on either. I eventually just left because I didn’t really need a refund. I am mostly just upset that I wasted 45 minutes of my time waiting for food that was not moving.

I really like this place. The food is always good and the employees are friendly. But I think there’s some improvement to be made on their process. Even on the weekdays when it’s not as busy as a Sunday, they still seem to take much longer than a bagel should take to toast.

I don’t think I’ll be back for a while, today was a disappointment and a...
