Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Georgia

My wife and I just moved to the Richmond Hill Ga area from Korea and were excited to see the restaurants nearby. Both my wife and I love to eat sought out fast food restaurants which she could dine at on her short breaks from work.

Wanting to try something new we decided to eat at the Zaxby’s Chicken restaurant located at 5971 Ogeechee Rd, Savannah Ga, 31419. My wife would visit this restaurant only via drive through due to the short breaks she was granted from work. On several occasions my wife, who is from Korea, would call me stating the individuals who were working the drive through were wing very disrespectful and mocking accent. I would urge my wife to disregard as some Americans can be very ignorant due to issues they’re experiencing at home. I told my wife to be resilient and if it continues that I would file a formal complaint.

At 6:12 PM on 18 Mar 2019, my wife attended tho Zaxby’s as she usually does via the drive through wherein she ordered a Grilled Chicken sandwich meal. She received her food and went back to her job where she begin to eat. After finishing her chicken sandwich she began to eat the fries which came with the meal when she noticed what appeared to be a used and discarded piece of chewing gum located underneath the fries. Upon closer inspection she confirmed it to be old used chewing gum contained in its wrapping paper. who knows what else was done to the fries or sandwich.

I know that each individual Zaxby’s is operated by and has a private owner. I attempted to contact the store directly several times at 6:30 PM on a Monday evening to no prevail. I simply wanted to speak with the manager to have this situation rectified. I called directly to the store where after a few minutes I was sent to an automatic answering machine which stated “your call can not be completed,” before hangin up. My next step is to contact the corporate office of the Savannah GA area and file a formal complaint.

I have eaten in restaurants all over the world and have never been completely disrespected as such. I have posted reviews all over google and never found the need to write anything as such. Unfortunately for Zaxby’s and the individual/s who carried out this disgusting act, I have to set an example for my wife to see that good people aren’t over looked and customers are appreciated.

As a Military Service member I am ashamed to say I fight for people who do things as such to customers and Americans of foreign decent.

We will never eat at Zaxby’s again.

Delivery. They didn't send all my items. They said they had kids working. They wasn't experienced at all.The young lady kept wiping her mouth. That's NASTY. She tried to give me my drink . I refused to take it. They were unprofessional . I won't EVER GOO there again. They tried to charge me for SAUCES. Which was supposed to come with my meal. The other lady said NO. Here's my receipt. They tried to make me pay again. It wasn't the Driver this time it was ZAXBY Then they tried to say I was loud. NO YALL was the problem. 1st They blamed the unexprienced workers. 2nd they blamed me. No I shouldn't have to go to zaxby when I order off line. Yall need to check orders before the drivers pick up. Then the supervisor didn't know what was going on. Oops!! I’m so disappointed with my experience yesterday. I came and ordered 3 tacos & cheese bites . I was told to pull forward and they would bring my order. I noticed the 3 card behind me were told to pull aside as well. I waited about 20 mins & I see the girl who told me to pull forward come out and bring the car behind me their food first, so immediately I’m annoyed. Still haven’t received my food. I see the man in the car who received his food first get out with the bag of food, as he’s getting out, i see the employee come out again and walk towards the other car to take them their food. I hear the man who got out his car tell the employee “This is 3 tacos, i ordered a number 4” … so now I’m really mad because is that my food?? They go inside and not even 2 minutes later another employee is bringing me that exact same bag that the man just brung back!!!!!! ...
