I'm temporarily taking my 5star rating AWAY. Zazbys just went on my "list". SPECIFICALLY, the closing crew on Saturday Feb 1, 2020 who closed up shop at 9:50 on a Sat night. I was in the drive thru (thinking of them and their time) at 9:52 PM. I sat at the speaker for 2 or 3 min with no answer. I pulled up to the window and not a soul behind the counter. I spot the young lady with the headset with a young man trying to figure out how to lock a door. I made EYE CONTACT WITH BOTH OF THEM. They NEVER ACKNOWLEDGE MY PRESENCE. I figured maybe she couldn't open the door for safety or something. So I pull back around to the speaker. Now that she knows I'm there, we can communicate. Again, a couple min, nothing. I go back to the side door and the guy is still playing with the door, STILL WON'T ACKNOWLEDGE MY PRESENCE. Now it's like 3 min til 10. I made ANOTHER ROUND and stopped at the window. This time I saw another young lady like cleaning. I made eye contact and gave an exaggerated "Hellllllo! Can someone HELP ME?" She continues what she's doing and goes back into the kitchen. At this time, it's 9:59 and I realized I didn't exist in their world and SURE wasn't going to get service. I left the parking lot to compile this report. I tried to call and it rang through. Guess they knew I was calling to say I didn't appreciate being ghosted 4 separate occasions in 10 min. It forced me to spend more money at a later restaurant that was still open since playing hide and go seek with them for 10 min killed my options to get anywhere else cheap that closed at 10. I can LIVE with the inconveniences of a restaurant closing a few min early from time to time. But to CONTINUOUSLY IGNORE ME and REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I WAS EVEN ON PROPERTY... That is what chaps my .....hide. I have NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING SHORT OF EXEMPLARY SERVICE AND FOOD FROM THIS LOCATION. UNTIL TONIGHT. I have no recourse but to punish this store with taking the money I WOULD HAVE SPENT, to a competitor. Who loves their customers and will stay open the hours on the door. Even if slow. ABSOLUTELY no excuse for this. And it takes a LOT to get me upset at individuals. And I am not looking for anybody to be let go. But they all could use some retraining on communicating with their customers... EVEN AND ESPECIALLY when they close early....
Read moreNo matter how much you check the order and verify in the Drive-thru they never get it correct. This last visit the Manager in Charge was more interested in hitting on one of the employees than checking the order for accuracy even after I corrected him at the window before paying. When I returned for the missing items he insisted I return everything for a remake and would not even offer to refund me the missed items. He would not provide the # for his manager or the owner either. Regardless of them being the closest to where I live, I will now drive further to another Zaxby when I have the craving. Never returning to this location. Especially during COVID since they can't even wear masks correctly (they go over the noise not under it and exposing the noise).
BTW this not the first time they messed up my order either, but the first time I was mad about it. I can live without a dressing even when...
Read moreConsistently screwed up orders usually missing club cheese or bacon or wrong bread. Usually let it go until tonight went an hour before closing but it is an hour before. They had a car pulled up ahead of us at the register window then had us pulled over then pulled over the three cars behind us and had other cars already pulled into spots couldn’t keep any car straight kept coming up with the wrong order finally get the right one and it was still wrong after a 20 minute wait. Went inside to get the right sandwhich they literally didn’t care and it took 3 minutes magically to get the right sandwhich while they were still pulling cars into parking spots to keep down their drive thru times down. We’re officially done giving this place...
