I've been to this location a couple of years ago and it was OK. I recently saw a Groupon for it and purchased two- one for me and one for my kids to go out to breakfast one day. This morning, my daughter and I decided to use one of them before it expires in a few days. We drove nearly 10 miles to get there. The Groupon was for two $15 vouchers. I approached the counter and asked the employee how it works. She told us that they aren't currently taking Groupons. I asked why and she said they contacted Groupon and told them they won't be taking them. OK, so what do I do with the $20 I've spent on this them? She told me to contact Groupon. No apology, no concern in the world. I was already upset about this, having gone out of our way to come to this place, but I decided to just order anyway. As we waited for the food, I managed to start a chat with Groupon. They refused to give me my money back because they only do that within 3 days after purchase. I told them that the merchant is refusing to take the Groupon. They also didn't care. So, I'm out my money, out my food, and when our bagels came out, the cream cheese was watery and tasteless and the bagel wasn't "twice baked" as I requested, but undercooked. I promise I'm not just saying this because of the Groupon situation. It truly was mediocre, at best. The whole experience was sucky. The least they could do is to honor something with the Groupon. They've lost costumers now and have gotten bad reviews because of it. A place with good customer service would have tried to make things right even if they have a dispute with Groupon. That's not the customer's problem. Don't make it ours! Do the right thing. I don't need to hear from the owner about how long they've been there or how many people love it. Lots of people have terrible taste. Otherwise, McDonald's wouldn't be in business. Just thoroughly disappointed in the...
Read moreWarning - Theft and Poor Customer Service If youâre into shady business practices and no customer service, this is the joint for you. I have been a customer to this location (Warner and Cooper crossroads) for literal years. Today, I had the worst experience with the company I have ever had thanks to their âManagerâ Danielle.
Details of the companies approved appalling practices: They have a punch card system that says if you buy 9 sandwiches, you get the 10th 1 free. No expiration dates, no listed restrictions. I had a few older cards that I misplaced but wanted to collect upon (Spent over $50 to complete). They were even signed by the previous management.
When presented to Danielle, she grabs them and tosses them to the side âWe no longer accept theseâ. Stone walled and unwilling to acknowledge anything other they her undocumented policy. We also had a second newer card completed and when we tried to use it, she wouldnât apply it to the correct line item I wanted (Refusing to make the situation right) and instead was trying to apply the credit to my kids $2.50 bagel. I wanted to do a split pay order and she continued to refuse to do anything helpful and continue to provide poor customer service (but she was happy to provide a sarcastic smirk). Finally, after further pressure to try and get her to do something right, she gave me a 1 time âwarningâ and credited me for a larger item.
So now, not only has she failed to fulfill a documented contract, she is trying to short change me on the rest of the order.
Due to the company stealing from me, not fulfilling their documented obligation, and their total lack of making a situation right, our family will now go elsewhere to invest into.
Only exception would be if the general manger called me to let me know they removed the failure of leadership from their company known...
Read morePlaced an order online. Showed up 30 minutes later only to be told that they were only just starting my order. Waited another 20 minutes until It was done. Meanwhile people who were in line were getting their food before me. So it took a total 6 employees behind the counter 50 minutes total to complete my order. I could somewhat understand if they were actually in a kitchen making it from scratch, but itâs only just assembled in front of you like a chipotle/subway. If youâre ordering online be aware that your order is bottom priority and itâs better to go in and wait In line, you will be forgotten/ignored if you have an online order.
UPDATE. Owner of the business replied to this review. As you can see, no apology, which tells you what the business is like. If there is a designated person fulfilling online orders, why did it take almost an hour total to complete it? If thereâs a designated team member fulfilling online orders, then there should be little to no excuse for this long of a wait. I understand your business was slammed, but waiting nearly an hour for a breakfast sandwich that was placed online is kind of a long wait. And yes, there are people behind the counter assembling breakfast sandwiches like subway. Donât gaslight me when the bagels are on display at the front and you have employees putting it together. Itâs not made from scratch, so taking almost an hour is weak. If anything, your business should be more like Subway, because at least their orders will be completed at a decent pace. It should also be noted that the employees looked miserable, and I donât blame them. The managerâs attitude toward customer service is...
