This is a very small Chinese restaurant with one table for 4 people to eat in and a bench to sit and wait for to go orders. Got here around 11:45 AM and there was a good stream of customers placing orders to go. While waiting I noticed they have a section selling chopsticks, trinkets, and they even had children’s Disney chopsticks. It was entertaining while we waited. After waiting for about 20 minutes, our food was ready. Although we only ordered 2 dishes, it felt very heavy.
Instead of their lunch specials, we ordered a couple of entrees. I thought General Tso Chicken was ok. I liked that it wasn’t very sweet and the breading was minimal. You could actually taste big chunks of chicken. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the Beef Lo Mein at all. I immediately smelled and tasted old oil and it was so off putting that I couldn’t eat it. It was also very bland and there were any hardly any vegetables. Even the hubs commented about the lack of vegetables.
They give you a ton of food and the prices are lower than other Chinese restaurants around here. I would rather pay a little more for good food. Unfortunately, the old oil just left a very bad taste in my mouth and I will not...
Read moremy work was given flyers for this new place since we are in the area so I decided to try for lunch. Oh My Goodness I am so happy I found this place I ordered a lunch combo with drink. I was extremely happy the food was nice and hot (its a chilly day)and fresh. Plenty of food also, started with a small salad with this amazing sweet dressing and then my entrée and a few bites of desert. My order was ready minutes after ordering which was so convenient for my lunch time. The dining space was clean, modern and simple. And they actually serve on real plates with real silverware. (impressive for the price) My server was kind and efficient and my bill was less than 11.00 dollars for food and beverage. I will most likely be back every day of the work week just to try all the different options. Sorry picture was taken after food half eaten. Couldn't resist. 05/01/2019 Wok with Ming has changed hands everything I loved about this restaurant before is gone. Food is fine but nothing special. I order the same thing each time and either it comes with something new or something is taken away, very unpredictable. Definitely not a...
Read moreI decided to finally try a new place for some Chinese food on the first night of the whole quarantine event. We haven't had Chinese food in a little while because places were just ok and didn't really stand out in anyway. Well that's put to the side and I finally found a spot close to home we can continue ordering from. I saw that had good reviews and then the name just spoke to me. I mean who doesn't like phuns. This was only a simple order night and not a multiple entree order like normal so I can update this next time if need be. We ordered there crab wontons, sesame chicken, and hot n sour soup. I'm addicted to crab wontons and these were wonderful. Very large in size and the filling was delicious as well. My wife loved her soup, just said if was incredibly hot. That's temperature and not spicy so I would say that's good. To wrap things up the chicken was really good as well. Sauce was delicious, breading was crispy (which is so hard to find, most places are soggy), and even the fried rice was great. Overall spectacular takeout meal and I look forward to eating her...
