My family and I went to this Freddy's to get some custard. The store closed at 10PM and we arrived at about 845PM. We weren't able to sit inside of the restaurant because a sign on the door said they were too short staffed to keep the lobby open but customers could still order through the drive thru. We should have turned around and went elsewhere, but we decided to do the drive thru because the outdoor patio was still open for seating. After ordering our custard, we were given a "version" of what we ordered but the order wasn't correct. We didn't complain because we still got something similar to what we ordered. The staff seemed to be poorly managed while we were sitting in the drive thru...watching our custard melt...because the employee at the drive thru didn't look behind her to see our order sitting directly behind her after a different employee set it down. While we watched the custard melt, we saw 6 employees inside of the restaurant who were walking around and appeared to be cleaning to close down the store early. One girl, whom I assume was the manager because she was wearing a polo shirt, was on her personal phone and seemed more interested in the phone than her crew. Eventually, we got our custard, parked, and sat at the outdoor seating area. Apparently someone else was pretty upset with their service too because they trashed the outdoor patio area with their order. We cleaned a table, sat down, and tried to enjoy the custard. Our experience was rudely interrupted when they turned the patio lights off while we were still sitting there. I tried to get one of the 6 employee's attention but no one noticed us (or the trash) on the patio. I called the business twice but they ignored the phone calls while I was watching them through the glass of the business. I ended up knocking on the door and one of the employees starred at me as if I was a purple headed unicorn. Instead of asking me if everything was OK, he got his manager (lady in the polo) who walked over to the door. I had to yell through the door initially to inform her we were still on the patio but she couldn't understand me. She eventually opened the door and I explained that we were still eating on the patio and needed the lights. She turned the lights back on thankfully. Overall, this was a pretty bad experience and I won't return to this location again. The custard was good, but the order was wrong. The employees were uninterested in their customers and they didn't care for keeping the...
Read moreTook my wife and our youngest to Freddy's this weekend and really enjoyed it. First the service was very good. The girl at the counter greeted us with a smile and was very friendly while taking our order, then bringing our food out. The food: Great burger joint food. I had a double cheeseburger combo and my wife had a Chicago dog and our daughter had the kid's meal hot dog. Everything was great. The only regret I had was that I got the double cheeseburger instead of the triple cheeseburger (my brother who told me about this place, told me to get the triple but I thought it would be too much food, so went with the double). The thing is, they smash the burgers on the flat top so they are very thin. Not complaining as that gives the burgers a great crust and flavor, just be aware that if you normally get a double cheeseburger at other places, I'm guessing you'll do well to order a triple cheeseburger here. Last thing on food...the fries. What is up with these small fries? They are shoestring fries. I jokingly complained about them until I had eaten them all LOL. Very nice crust on the outside and soft in the middle as a good fry should be. A little annoying to eat due to their size but they were good. My youngest also had some frozen chocolate custard and I had a taste. So creamy and chocolatey! Very good! Could see going back there just for dessert sometime. So why only 4 out of 5 starts? Well, the place WAS clean but there were quite a flies inside the restaurant. Pesky flies! Hopefully that was just an anomaly. I'll go back as we really liked the food but if the flies are still there, that could be a deal breaker for...
Read moreDear Freddy's Management Team,
I am writing to express my disappointment with the dining experience I had at your establishment recently. Unfortunately, my visit to Freddy's left me with a negative impression due to the excessive use of seasoning salt on both the fries and burger I ordered.
The fries I received were overwhelmingly coated with seasoning salt, to the point where the taste was overpowering and unpleasant. The excessive seasoning detracted from the enjoyment of the fries and made them nearly inedible. Additionally, my burger also suffered from the same issue, as it was heavily seasoned with salt to the point where it overwhelmed the flavors of the burger itself.
As a customer, I expect a reasonable level of seasoning to enhance the taste of the food, but the excessive use of seasoning salt at Freddy's resulted in a disappointing dining experience. The lack of balance in the seasoning detracted from the overall quality of the meal and made it difficult for me to enjoy the food.
I understand that seasoning preferences can vary among customers, but the heavy-handed approach to seasoning at Freddy's detracted from the quality of the food and left me with a negative impression. I hope that you will address this issue to ensure a more balanced and enjoyable dining experience for your customers in the...
