First of all not to put all the blame on the staff… I went there without my credit card because the wife was placing the order online only to find out while I was there that they were no longer accepting online orders so I had to return home which is literally 3 minutes away…. But upon arrival back… I went in and ordered 2-4pc tender meals with Mac n cheese , a kfc bowl and a 4pc dark meal w Mac n cheese….. as I ordered I watched Jaden (manager) I assume ring up the order just to have him tell me that they had no chicken tenders (how he knew that without looking is beyond me and even if he already knew that why not tell me immediately after I placed the order for them) … Anyway … I changed the order to 2-4pc white With Mac n cheese , 1-4pc dark with Mac and cheese,and a kfc bowl … he then goes to the rack.. comes back and says “ we have no white “ …. So now I just ask for 3-4 pc dark with 3 Mac n cheese and a kfc bowl plus a small cake… upon arriving home the wife unpackaged the meals to find that the biscuits were pressed in with deep fingerprints in them (we soon found out that they were uncooked and still dough) …. Instead of Mac n cheese we got mashed potatoes and we got no sodas with the meals … so I called up there and explained the situation to the manager (Jaden) who happened to be the one who took the order and gathered the items… and after apologizing his reason was that he was rushing…. So I asked him myself what was he going to do about it and he said that they were closing in 10minutes and that I could come back or wait til tomorrow for him to make it right….. well I’m pretty sure they weren’t gonna cook any more biscuits or make more Mac n cheese in 10 minutes ….. I’ll continue this review tomorrow after I see exactly how kfc will make this...
Read moreAs a 52 year old, ‘new to Gilbert’ resident, I have been to KFC many times over the years to say the least. I have had quality food and service through those years but I will admit to a drop during the pandemic years, just like most all of the other businesses too. As an employee-owner of two retail sporting goods stores in the valley, I felt that pain firsthand as well. I went to save this location as a “favorite” in maps and I saw the low score and some of the bad reviews that were uncalled for, so I felt compelled to write this.
That being said, my wife stopped off here Saturday, October 5th at around 1:40 pm to grab take out for us, so the lunch rush was just winding down but there was still a good crowd. Even with that factored in, all of the food was hot, the chicken was crispy, NOT soggy or oily and the order was correct. Both of us were very pleased with the quality of it. For this review, I asked her for some details that I would want to know if I were you. She said that the store was clean, even the soda fountain and the restroom. The staff were very polite and they were on the ball. Yes, it is expensive but you’re getting meat and potatoes, not processed chicken and fluff. We both did feel that the sides were small and given the price, they really should fix that.
Give them a try for yourself!! Just check the app for deals so the potatoes and gravy don’t break the bank, check your order before you get home and try not to come in at ten minutes before they close. They WILL be out of chicken as it takes time to cook and they want to get home to their family and...

We placed the order for delivery which went through local door dash delivery service. Instructions were left for gate code access, apartment number, phone number and more. When it showed delivery driver arrived we waited….and waited….and waited. NO FOOD!
We then called the store and a gentleman answered who acknowledged he is the manager of the store. When we told him that we did not receive our food he proceeded to tell us that we picked door dash and that we needed to contact them. We told him that we did not as your website that we placed the order on chose door dash. He got nasty and we asked to speak to the manager. That’s when he said that he is the manager. After no resolution we did call door dash. They contacted the driver who stated the left the food at the office. We told them take the office is not open, and that we left instructions and that it was to be delivered to the apartment. We received no phone call by the driver either. Now door dash says they can not refund us that we have to contact the store. We told the customer service lady that we already did that before calling her and they told us that door dash had to refund.
As you can clearly tell we had poor customer service not only from your store manager, but door dash that you solicit to use on your website.
