Placed my order over the phone 10:45am (Store opens at 10:30). Small hand tossed with sausage onions and mushrooms. I was given a time frame of 15 to 20 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes later. After paying for my order I was told my pizza would be right out. 5 minutes later I started trying to get the employees attention as I had already lost half of my 30 minute lunch break. He finally comes over and THEN he tells me they are out of onions. At this point I am flabbergasted that my pizza wasn't even in the oven yet and demanded a refund. I have worked for several pizza places including Hungry Howies and I have never even fathomed service being this blatantly terrible. Now I get to drive back to work with no food to eat and dive right back into repairs on busses for the Higley school district on an empty stomach. Thank you so much for being so inconsiderate! Maybe learn how to come to work and actually do your job rather than screw around because you think you have all day to prep (ON A FRIDAY) and people like me that eat lunch at 11...
Read moreI love Hungry Howies Pizza generally. We have purchased from this location twice in the past month and hoped the second time would be better, but it wasn't. the first order we placed came completely wrong and when they "fixed" it, they forgot the flavored crust for the order.... How do you mess up a fix order? the second order we placed, in the hopes that it would be better, came and was completely under cooked, very doughy and the cheese was piled a 1/4" on one side and the other side of the pizza barley had any cheese, also the pizza was cut very poorly, when i say cut poorly i mean they had slices the size of my face and then other slices the width of a finger, and the cutting was so offset from the center I'm not sure the employees were trained or if they just don't care about their job. If I owned this location I would consider retraining staff to take a little more care. Me or my family will not be purchasing from this location again, but will be happy to go the extra 5 miles to...
Read moreIt had been about four years since I ate here. I first came to this location when they first opened and fell in love with Cajun crust meat lovers pizza. So being gone for four years saw this place was still here and going. I had to stop. I was talking to the gentleman who was in charge and he let me tell this story to him and that my first stop being back was here. I tried my card and some reason the card machine froze up and crashed. After several attempts it wasn’t working. And it was now closing time. But he said he was going to make it for me anyway and he stayed just to make for me. That will leave a big impression of generosity. I thank that kind man. I left with my pizza and drove quickly to the atm and when I got back he was gone and store closed for the night. But he will hold a special place in pizza...
