Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Gilbert

Foods always been great, atleast by Fast Food standards, but unfortunately for all the late-night goers (the people they're trying to market to), this locations times are so wildly inconsistent. The store itself will have a lit sign saying "OPEN 24/7". Lights will be on, you'll see someone walking around or sweeping, but nope. They're actually closed. It's a 50/50 on whether they'll be open past 12am. Not really "24/7".

Ontop of their inconsistent times, there's always something preventing people from just ordering normally and you HAVE to jump through hoops like ordering online just to eat here. This has happened to me on serveral occasions where I'll show up, and they'll say something along the lines of "sorry our computer isn't working, we're only taking mobile orders" or "it's just me tonight and you have to order online so there's not a huge line". So instead of just driving to this location, ordering my food at the drive-thru, getting it then and there, I have to order it online and then just wait around or just order through DoorDash. Massive waste of time and money since I have to pay DD their absurd fees and tip my driver just to eat here. Abysmal.

Tldr: Whenever I do get my food it's always been great, but the problem is not being able to order food most of the time I go here (past 12am). Abysmal...

Great place great food always tastes the best and I love Jack in the Box as a franchise its honestly one of my favorite fast food chains. However, this location(the closest location to home) is slightly lacking. The day crew here is great, no complaints about them but the rest of the night crew is just lazy, they never seem happy or respectful and they don't hold up to good Jack in the Box expectations. Every location in Arizona serves breakfast all throughout the night however whenever i come to this location at night they are magically always "cleaning the grill" or "out of eggs" or whatever the excuse is next so that they can't make a simple breakfast Jack which is my favorite sandwich and is more expensive than the chicken sandwich that I have to default to when they say they aren't serving breakfast. It's just frustrating because I don't like to be one to complain about stuff like this but the frustration has just built up at this point and I want it to be brought to someone's attention.

Update: they've been better with the breakfast part but the night crew's attitude still could really use a check here and there. I get it you're tired and want to go home but its still apart of your job to be nice. Still love the day crew though, never had a...

I come here for some sausage, bacon, and eggs several mornings a week before the gym to load up on some protein.

The drive through staff is always nice & pleasant, I regret I don’t know the woman’s name, but same woman every weekday morning, she’s smiley & it’s good to see at a fast food drive in.

Today I cruised through on a Sunday morning and a man named John or Jon was working the drive through, this dude was genuinely hilarious. He sung my order back to me, asked me if I heard about some recent breaking news (not political, just movie star news), and honestly was one of the more pleasant staff members at any fast food drive through I’d ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Anyway, he was so cool in the early morning, I had to make a quick review to give them props.

Now, I gotta get to my protein bomb and hit the gym...
