Tifa Chocolate & Gelato — Restaurant in Gilbert

Possibly the worst ice cream/gelato we’ve ever had. I’m beginning to wonder if all these reviews are just fake. We decided to get some ice cream and our go to is Cream of the Crop. We unfortunately had just 10 mins to get there and we decided to try this place instead because of the reviews. We tried the Fig Mascarpone and it was okay. My 4 yr old wanted cookies and cream, the adults had mint chocolate chip and salted caramel. The salted caramel was okay. The mint chocolate chip had this toothpaste type of mint flavor and tasted worse than the cheapest grocery store ice cream. The worst was cookies and cream. My 4 yr old… let me reiterate, my 4 yr old refused it after one bite. We tasted it and found it disgusting, lacking in any flavor whatsoever. Update 202501- came back, annual trip to visit friends in AZ. This spot is still delicious, had the espresso chip (again) but this time with espresso or better known as an affogato. Should have got a double. Love supporting local owners, this spot will be the go to. Don’t hesitate, head over and try it out. Love that the kids actually engaged in the tic taco toe and chess games instead of scrolling their phones. Now that I have young teenagers, I especially appreciate the young employees providing the customer service. Good job owners.

More of an ice cream type of guy but this hit the spot. I had the espresso chip, which has caffeine and was delicious. The ambiance is very modern and it’s overall super clean. My wife had the cappuccino and the foam froth on top was to her liking....

I came here to see if ANYONE wrote a review below 5. To the people that did that, get a life. This place is exquisite, some of the best gelato I've had in my life and it's so awesome we have this in Gilbert where there's nothing this creative and of high quality like this.

Beautiful addition to the neighborhood, I hope it gains as much traction as all these other silly new coffee spots and frozen yogurt chains. We need more businesses like this in the neighborhood. Take this as my vote of support. Can't wait to go back
