My family and I have consistently had breakfast burritos from this Mesquite location at least 3 times/ week for over a year due to the superb customer service, consistent high quality food, and their willingness to accommodate modifications due to dietary restrictions. Despite the 15 minute drive each way from our home, it's well worth it and there's nowhere else we go for breakfast. They are the best refried beans we've found in Arizona, and they allow us to order bean and potato burritos, with their guac sauce on the side, to accommodate our vegan diet. It's our first stop and biggest craving when we get back from vacation in Mexico! My father loves the egg breakfast burrito, especially the roasted salsa, and is never disappointed with the ingredient quality. You also can't beat the price- especially for food made with care! There is a difference in how food makes you feel based on the people making it. While the food is always excellent, what makes this place special is the staff. All the morning employees, especially Rosa, Paola, Jenny, Jimmy, and Rosa's daughter, are so kind and genuine and it's always an amazing start to the morning getting to talk with them. They know our order immediately from my dad's voice, and never once have they messed up our order. Rosa has really gone above and beyond in making us feel welcome and cared about and we look forward to seeing her! She is completely knowledgeable of the ingredients in the food, allowing us to confidently order in line with our dietary restrictions. We love Mesquite Fresh and will continue to return for the delicious burritos and genuine hospitality and...
Read moreI ordered 3 tacos, chicken on flour, steak on flour and barbacoa on corn. I got all three dressed with traditional toppings of cilantro, cabbage and raw onion and green salsa. The meats are good. Although they do not taste grilled over mesquite, they are good. The barbacoa has a slight spiciness that builds over time. Now on to the bad. The tortillas aren’t great. They seem like any supermarket or Sysco tortilla. Also the toppings, especially the cabbage, weren’t diced small enough so you get large chunks of vegetable with each bite. I had to remove some toppings from corresponding bites. Additionally I believe it is too expensive for what it is, mediocre mexican food. Mexican street food is supposed to...
Read moreMesquite Burrito was really good and filling, but for the price, it felt a little underwhelming in size. If you’re someone who eats out a lot and likes to stretch a dollar, this might not be your go-to. At Chipotle, I can get a quesarito that has some real weight to it way more food for the same price (excluding protein).
This was more of an average-sized burrito, closer to what you’d expect from a Filiberto’s specialty item. Still, the flavor hit the mark, and it’s easy to see why the local crowd enjoys it especially being right across from Perry and the senior complex. If you’re into solid Mexican food and don’t mind the price, it’s...
