Absolutely incredible establishment, the staff is absurdly nice, extremely knowledgeable about coffee, and very accommodating/knowledgeable about dietary restrictions. It's clear they have a precise dedication to their craft over everything else. My partner(s) described her drink as "The best matcha I've ever had".
The interior design leaves a lot to be desired in terms of atmosphere (see edit below), but my god, they've got a laser focus on the quality of their drinks and their service. Do yourself a favor and give this place a shot, ignore the starbucks and Dutch Bros nearby and grab something WORTH DRINKING from Little Jupiter Cafe.
Don't be a bootlicking moron who goes to a giant corpo chain reflexively out of comfort, go here instead.
EDIT: In the months since I've posted this review, they've kept their incredible commitment to amazing coffee, AND done their best to spruce up the interior design. It's not over the top, but they've added artwork to all the walls which regularly rotates in and out, as well as replaced standard drop tile foam panels with wood paneling instead. Both changes have gone a long way in making the space more comfortable and relaxing of a spot to hang out while enjoying one of the best coffees you've ever had.
EDIT 2: In the months since I've posted my edit, Jupiter has changed ownership back to it's original, pre-my-review, owners and is no longer under the designation of Pair Cupworks. I have not formed a coherent opinion of the new/old version of Little Jupiter Cafe that is presently available and therefore my original review is no...
Read moreFirst things first...am I/are we coffee snobs? 💯! But doesn't that make us experts?! 😉
The best part of our weekend is our quest for the perfect local coffee spot. This morning's mission, initiated by yours truly saying, "Chunkito (aka Oscar), find us a coffee spot!" led us to Little Jupiter Cafe.
The coffee...sooooo good! Seriously, it's officially going on my Best. Coffee. Ever. list! And believe me....it's not an easy list to make.
Of course, this all depends on your coffee preferences. But if you're like us and crave a strong brew that's also smooth, soft, and subtle with just a hint of sweetness? Then Little Jupiter... This. Is. Your. Spot.
The Coffee Deets (our order): Iced Vanilla Latte with Oat Milk, half sweet. And trust me, if you like your coffee to kick you in the pants in the best way possible, this is your jam. They nailed it!
The Vibe Check: Simple, a little hipster. Not exactly cozy café vibes, but it was buzzing with people, so it must be a popular hangout.
The Tiny Bummer: The patio situation was a bit of a letdown for us. Only two small tables. We love our patio coffee dates with our pup, Mundo 🐾, so today was a grab-and-go situation.
But let's be real, the coffee is what really matters, and Little Jupiter definitely makes the cut. We'll be back for that...
Read moreI got recommended this place by a friend for their matcha. I ordered a regular matcha and noticed they had a pumpkin matcha and let them know I’ll get that instead of the regular one. The brunette girl already made the regular matcha before I even paid. She just poured the mixture in the cup and put milk over it. I asked if that was the pumpkin matcha and she said no. I decided not to change it since it was a waste of product. So they refunded me and I sat at the island waiting for my avocado toast. A couple of customers came in and they all ordered different things. Not one order was correct. The brunette girl kept forgetting to add things to the order and was making a mess. There’s a white machine they grind the beans in and she forget to put the lid on and it went everywhere. People kept asking for napkins because their coffee was spilled on the cup. Also she kept giving people two of the same thing because she kept making mistakes and not wasting product. I was scared to eat my avocado toast by the time it came out and the matcha wasn’t good. I believe they use those instant matcha since they just pour milk into it. I wouldn’t recommend this place. If you do get it to go make sure you take a sip of your drink before go. It’s most likely...
