I visited today for the first time and was really excited to have a mochinut so close to home. I often visit the location in Ranch 99 market and they are fantastic so I assumed this location would offer the same great experience.
But I was wrong.
I walked in and I greeted the woman behind the counter but didn't get so much as a smile or a hi back. My friend had already ordered for me and was making her food by the stations. I greeted my friend and was admiring the products on the wall, while still being stared at. I was reading the soup instructions and looking at the sides while this woman's eyes did not leave me for 2 seconds. Just staring not smiling or even saying anything which was uncomfortable. They also don't keep napkins anywhere their customers can access them so after getting sugar all over myself I asked her for napkins and she still didn't say a peep. Not a smile nothing, still. At that point we just quickly ate our food and left. It was an awkward experience and I'll stick to the Ranch 99 location in the future.
The donuts were pretty dense and just tasted like they had been sitting out all day, not the usual texture or quality I'm used to. We visited in the afternoon on a Monday so I get the demand may just not be that high for this time of the day. The food was overall just fine and if the customer service was better, we would have had a pleasant experience as we always do. But instead it was uncomfortable and felt like we just didn't belong there. The sparkling strawberry was amazing as always though, so I'll give them that.
I hope they provide her, or all of their employees, some hospitality training. It's okay to be somewhat personable especially if you want customers to return. End of rant, thanks...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was my second time going to this location and the service was poor. When I would ask a question, they would give me a blank stare. I couldnāt tell if it was a language issue or just them being over me, in either case I was uncomfortable and second guessing myself the whole time. A very unfriendly atmosphere.
When I was making my noodles, she would continuously come around the corner staring at me with annoyance.
Lastly, I got a Ube boba, that had an unpleasant grainy texture. I purchase this drink often from their other locations and other boba shops, so I was surprised. Maybe Iām uncultured, I donāt know, but it was unpleasant. I gave them a second chance and my experience was worse than the first one.
PS- My first visit the cashier lied to me about purchasing noodles to go and was adamant that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe went in on Saturday evening for the 1st time and had seen the website before we arrived. The young girl up front was short and rude right off the bat. Not even a greeting, it was a " hey just to let you guys know we're closing soon ALL I can serve you guys the remaining donuts. Ramen and Boba are not available" I'm thinking this in my head-REALLY this is how you want to keep business ? I THEN asked asked her what about soft serve ? She said oh different franchises have diff items. I'm like well your link directly for this location does show soft serve. She said we'll sorry I can't do anything about that. I stated to her you should update the site as it's misleading. Which I showed her and didn't care at all. Never coming back for at all. Terrible service and...
