Tacos N More Mexican Grill 2 — Restaurant in Gilbert

The owners of this establishment are aweful in business tactics!! Beware! Months ago we started to come her at least 1-2x per month. We like their pastor tacos and shrimp cocktail. Well went there on 9/9/20 at 7:22PM. We ordered 5 little pastor tacos, 2 shrimp cocktail and a bean tostada, a a burrito and one other item for a total aof $51 order just about every time we go that is what we spend!!! The girl at the register took our order she asked is this take out or dine in. We said dine in because we do not live local and drive specifically to Taco and More to eat - as I said we like their tacos. We said dine in she said okay, we paid and proceeded to get our drinks and wait for our order. 3 minutes later the girl comes and says to us they cannot do dine in because the close at 8PM. I said it is only 7:20 and we arrived 5 minutes ago.. well no one there said anything when we ordered, mind you it was 7:25 by time order was placed. The order itself is not a big problem for most taco places because it is put together fast and easy and out usually within 10 minutes...but not Taco and More they are and always are slow to get food out - this was always an issue with us but we accepted it because we like their pastor. We often would sit there and say... geez why so long to make a few tacos and a tosata? They have always been super slow just for tacos wrapped in corn tortilla. Seriously there was barely no one there either. We thought how rude of them to pull this stunt. Usually any place you go to eat if you walk in 40 minutes before closing they still allow you to eat there. They should from now on post a sign that no dine in orders after 7:15P only take out if they want to play and risk their business like that. During a time of Covid were dine is is limited people and all...You would think they appreciate our constant business. They changed our minds on their tactics of doing business. SO FAIR WARNING THIS IS THE TYPE OF BUSINESS YOUR DEALING WITH. EVERY CHANCE I GET WE WILL LET OTHERS KNOW NOT TO GO THERE. We called a few taco places around there and called and asked if we come in 40 minutes prior to closing is that a problem if we are dining in and all said not at all we service up to 15 minutes before closing for dine in. We told them to give us a refund we got it and left and we will never ever go again. We were...

I normally keep negative reviews to myself, but this speaks so strongly against a value I hold closely - Integrity.

I ordered 4 different types of breakfast burritos, a side of fries, and a taco. They brought me my order, and luckily I checked the bag because I was missing a breakfast burrito. I stood at the counter and waited for approximately 5 minutes, and only got recognized when another patron pointed out that I had been waiting before he had arrived at the counter. I let them know I was missing a breakfast burrito. Without asking which one was missing, the employee said they'd go check the back. A few minutes later, another employee came from the back and I asked them if they knew which breakfast burrito I was missing. The employee replied back with the exact breakfast burrito I was missing. They knew exactly which one it was because they had knowingly gave me an incomplete order.

I have been going to this location for almost 10 years, but this will be my last. If you know an order is incomplete, don't pretend the order is ready and knowingly short a customer. If a customer pays for their order, they should receive what they paid for, not what your lazy work...

So this is what you get for a $14 dollar pozole,very low amount of corn hominy and meat,3/4 of the meat was pure fat and who knows what other parts of the animal….I asked one of the employees if it was possible to replace the fat for clean meat and they said no,the girl in charge came to my table to return the fat on top of the napkins where I had put it and said there was nothing she can do,so they rather lose a customer that normally comes 2-3 times a month just to save a dollar or 2 of meat which I have already paid for it ….I mentioned I was going to put a review with pics and she went back to the kitchen saying it was fine and she walked away…5-7 minutes later they changed their mind and another employee came with a small beef taco to replace the other meat but at this point it was too late,I didn’t finish my pozole I didn’t eat the small taco they just ruined my meal very bad experience I wasn’t asking for free food just to replace the bad quality meat,heads up ….thank god there’s other options ,I was not being mean or had an attitude with them I just thought it was possible to replace it with better real beef meat...
