I just have to give a big olā shoutout to their server JETT. The guyās a legend. Iāve been here a few times now, and each time he greets me like Iām a VIP at a secret club that only serves good vibes and even better food. Heās kind, upbeat, and honestly might be running on pure sunshine and serotonin. Jett, if youāre reading this, never change.
The others on the team? Also amazing. Theyāre like the backup dancers of hospitality, perfectly in sync, supportive, and lowkey stealing the show with their kindness and helpfulness.
BUT LET ME GET TO THE REAL STAR OF THE SHOW: STELLAāS HOMEMADE BROWNIES.
Yāall. Iām not saying I would abandon my responsibilities and sprint across town just for one⦠but I AM saying Iāve thought about it more than once. These brownies are dangerously good.
Picture this: a warm brownie (weāre talking ājust pulled out of the ovenā⦠because it literally is), topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. And not just any vanillaāno, no. Iām very picky about vanilla. Most of the time it tastes like disappointment in dairy form. But Stellaās vanilla? Creamy, rich, and basically proof that angels exist.
Then Jett suggested that I get it drizzled with chocolate fudge and peanut butter, because apparently moderation doesnāt live here. And THEN, because heās clearly out to ruin my willpower, he sprinkled it with Heath bar, or was it Reeseās? I really didnāt care because I literally had to pause mid-bite just to emotionally process what was happening. A KA-BOOM OF PERFECT FLAVOR!
If youāre having a bad day? This brownie (topped with YOUR ice cream choice) is your therapy. If youāre having a good day? Congrats, itās about to get even better.
Highly recommend. Come for the service, stay for the brownie (and ice cream, of course), and leave wondering if itās socially acceptable to order a second one āfor laterā...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have become very dissappinted in this place and its honestly embarrassing for business. I think this place has an enjoyable atmosphere for many, but if you have food allergies do NOT come here!! I had high hopes when Stella's opened as they seemed to cater to allergy restrictions. However, my first visit consisted of staff not willing to check the ingredients for me (just asked if the GF cookie had egg). Mind you, this was after the numerous phone calls I made to Stella's, all of which they never answered, to ask before I visited with a group as well as a deep dive search through their website and Facebook page in hopes of finding an allergen list of some sort (and trust me... I searched hard). However, I decided to give Stella's the benefit of the doubt and try again a few days later... but to my surprise, it was even worse. I tried calling beforehand, but no answers. And when I showed up to ask if the cherry chip ice cream was egg free, it took 3 people over 20 minutes (all with baffled expressions) just to figure this out. And when they did eventually figure it out, I was ignored in line since me & my group had been standing there for so long. Although I appreciate the thoroughness, this clearly showed me that Stella's is NOT by any means prepared to serve people with allergies. Such a disappointment and I'm baffled as to why they never answer the phone! Just wanted to warn others with allergies......
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLearned about this place in a gluten free group and made my husband detour here since we happen to be so close by. Being gluten free and dairy free, I am accustomed to a chocolate option and maybe a sorbet or two as my only dairy free/vegan ice cream options in a bowl/cup. To be able to have 6 dairy free ice cream options in a gf waffle cone made me ecstatic! The girl working was so attentive and sweet, when I assumed I couldn't eat the gf cookies (dairy is everywhere!) She brought out the ingredients for their cookies for me to read and learned the gf cookies are dairy free as well! Again, I'm not used to places taking that much care and attention to allergens and dietary restrictions which is dumb when you think about it. It's a place where my husband who can eat anything and me who can't can go to the same place together! I felt like a kid again walking out of there with my 2 scoops in a waffle cone. Being from Michigan and supporter of local businesses felt even more like home, hoping they can master dairy free Superman...
