KB Teriyaki Grill — Restaurant in Gladstone

Great salad dressing. I recommend the spicy chicken. Update 6/1/21. Arrived 40 minutes prior to closing and was told we couldn't dine in because they were closing. Ordered three plates of the Teriyaki chicken with rice and were told that they only had enough rice for two. Then we were offered yakisoba noodles as a substitute, but they would have to charge us extra. We agreed to the substitute, but weren't going to pay extra for it. Then they came back with, "We actually only have enough rice for one". At that point we got them to refund our credit card and left. Even though the food is good, we won't bother ever returning. I don't care if it's one minute before closing, a restaurant should provide full service and a full menu to its patrons. We came in at 7:20 and they didn't close until 8:00, so, it wasn't like we were pushing it. The employees just couldn't be bothered...

The food was not edible. It says grilled chicken and the chicken was not grilled. They did not put the teriyaki on the side and it’s teriyaki chicken. The salad was a small container of brown & wilted iceberg lettuce. The salad dressing is no longer their homemade signature recipe but a bottled super sugary sweet think substance. The potstickers order has 5 very small potstickers for $6.95. The chicken plates were $14.99. When I called to tell them the order was wrong and missing items she was insulted that I would complain. She made me drive back in rush hour traffic for 37 minutes to do a credit card refund and when I got there took the uneaten food back which they technically aren’t supposed to accept and said that I did not need to drive there to get my refund when she told me over the phone that I had to drive back and return the food to get a refund....

This is the 3rd time I've come here and every time the same blonde girl acts as if she hates her job. She is always very snarly and rude to me. I paid with my debit card today and accidentally drove away with her little clipboard that I signed on. When I realized it, I came back ( about an hour later). She was soooo mad at me, as if I intentionally took it or something. She mumbled something to me and slammed the window before I could even say anything. I highly recommend the manager looks into this. She is a blonde who was working about 7:45pm today, 5-5-13. Horrible customer service. I just moved to the area and was looking forward to finding a good coffee shop so close to home; Unfortunately I will not be back to a place who treats me like that, especially with my children in the car asking :why is she mean to you, mommy".
