The drinks are always tasty. The service here is usually pretty good but it can be a very slow process regardless of if there's a long or short line of cars. I know a couple of times we've gone they were obviously short staffed but other times there have been several employees and the line still moves slow. I have the app and placed my pick up order for 3 drinks but when I got there to pick them up I realized for the first time that there's no walk up/pick up window in use so even if you place a pick up order you still have to wait in line to get it. The last time I placed a pick up order (not the last time I went) I ordered from home, it took probably 8-12 minutes to get there and the app said to give them 10 minutes to have the order ready for pickup. That was the time I realized there's no pick up window. The 2 lines of cars were both long so by the time we sat and waited through all the other cars ordering it had been almost 35 minutes since the app estimated my order would be ready. And when we got to the window they still had to finish making our drinks. At that point I was glad they hadn't had our order ready and waiting for 35 minutes to get all melted. I feel like Black Rock needs to figure out what isn't working in their process that slows everything down so much. I never go to Black Rock before work or any time I am on a schedule because I can't afford to get stuck in a line waiting for 20+minutes but I do like their drinks and I still go occasionally on my weekends when it doesn't matter how long it takes. I don't think this is an employee problem they're all doing their best when we go so it has to be something in the process they use or a training issue, I don't know but I do know that every other coffee drive through I use is really fast even with ridiculously long lines and most have a walk up window for to go orders or people...
Read moreI ordered online as I always do, but the employees at this location will tell you that none of them can open the front window, THEY HAVEN'T HIRED A SINGLE PERSON THAT IS ABLE TO OPEN A SLIDING WINDOW?!?!?! i'm sorry but thats just a little far fetched. so you have to wait in line regardless of if you order ahead or not. That being said, in most locations when the line is spilling out of the parking lot they will send a worker outside to take orders and get the lines moving. This location does not do this. After ordering online and waiting a half an hr in line i got my coffee. It had none of the flavors i ordered in it. It literally tasted like coffee and oatmilk. no flavor. they make you pay a lot for any flavor you want but because i didnt feel like waiting another half hour for them to remake it. I took the L, and I will just go to a different location from now own. She felt the need to keep correcting my daughter saying we don't use those terms that's starbucks, we aren't starbucks! I informed her I should have either a free drink and or a birthday drink as it's my birthday today she continued with her attitude and stated what you wanted to use one? I politely said yes please.. I gave her my card to swiped and she handed it back she then stated I need your card back it didn't take, I told her last time I was told that I was charged twice. She rolled her eyes and said well you can always come back then and fix it. I gave her the card, as I am looking at my bank statement and magically it took. I get to the window the gal gives us our coffees and says you still need to pay. I again informed her no I don't and went to showe her that it processed thru my bank and she became extremely rude and told me to leave. Believe me I will not becoming back to your location!
