Menehune Murph's Shave Ice — Restaurant in Gladstone

I have heard about this place and heard great things. The good reviews are well deserved!! I love a good shave ice and they did not disappoint. We went there to close out Mother’s Day. Even though we were there right before closing, the line was long enough that I didn’t think we would end up getting served. They had actually stayed open to accommodate the line which, was amazing. The gentleman taking orders, who I presume was the owner, was so friendly and has the best customer service.

They have all, and I mean all, of the flavors that you could possibly want on shave ice. It was like finding a great shave ice place in Hawaii. Truly a gem!

Ok you may be wondering why we would drive over a half hour to the other side of the river for shaved ice ...

This place is Hawaii 2.0 . Everything is from Hawaii the people are from Hawaii and their love for shaved ice is from Hawaii .

Hands down the best service , best quality shaved ice with Ice cream options like Maui Waui sherbet and cream drizzle .

My wife and I will definitely be back for more and it’s worth the drive for a cute little date with shaved ice .

So happy they're open for this hot spring weather! Great price for SHAVED ICE. Not a snow cone-- actual shaved ice!!! Many flavors, ice cream, toppers to choose from and the owners are super nice. This place gets very busy during peak hours, so be patient or get there early. There are a few seats outside. They haven't opened the inside back up yet and not sure if they will. Order at the door, which is converted to a window. They take ApplePay.
