I came here after a staff at Pho Thi (in downtown Oregon City) told me about this place. The service at Pho Gia is professional, courteous, and quick...sometime a tad too quick as you'll receive a bill before you finish your meal; this is a common practice in Asia but some in the States may take offense. I didn't. I ordered their special pho (#30) and it was very flavorful, but a tad greasy compared to an equally flavorful pho at Pho Thi. They give you just enough bean sprouts, 2 kinds of mint, jalapeno, & a wedge of lemon. I added an avocado shake & Vietnamese ice coffee. I'll definitely return again for the other dishes. WEIRD: Their instrumental music needs to change. Reviewer Jeff Parrish mentioned "Dust in the Wind", while I heard a "Rock-a-Bye". LoL!! 😂😂😂😂

My husband and I had a phenomenal experience here. We took our time looking over the menu and we mentioned to the waitress it was our first time ever trying Pho. She wound up bringing us our own sample bowls to try! We ordered quite a lot and everything was delicious. Even my husband, who is not a big fan of Asian cuisine, said his dish was great and he’s excited to come back and try other items. The waitress continued to check in on us and was very fun and thoughtful. The servings were plentiful and very cost-friendly. My husband tried the beef stew, I ordered Pho (#37), and we also ordered potstickers and pork fried rice to share. All that & our drinks (including a Boba smoothie) came out to under $50. We will definitely be returning!!

very disappointed 😕😕 The last time I came here it was good. so, I googled the menu and was looking for this seafood special they used to have with chicken broth, seafood, and quail eggs. I asked what it all came with. The person on the phone told me all the vegetables and seafood it came with. So I ordered that, crispy rolls, and a thai iced tea which ran me 21$ even though I wasn't dining in, I still tipped as if they did give me good service and expecting the food to be good. I got halfway home before I realized there was no quail eggs, something I specifically requested. I called them and had to go back to get them. I finally get home and there's chicken broth all over my passenger seat and then I noticed they didn't give me no napkins or utensils!! and the broth leaked everywhere in my car and on my lap. I had nothing to clean it with. I set the food in the house and cleaned up my car. I go inside to put my pho together and there was barely any seafood, none of these veggies that was told to me were given. Also none of the usual pho fixings (like cilantro, Thai basil, bean sprouts, lime wedges, usually some jalapeños, hoisin sauce) but they did throw in the sliver end of a jalapeno which was so tiny they might as well not have. I have no idea why they have good reviews or maybe they are outdated. Honestly, I deserve a refund. This is not a good pho place. This is so rude and careless. Pho gia, do better 🙄😏 The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 was because I think the person on the phone was genuinely trying to help me look...

This place was really good!

Tip: when boxing your own soup, the containers may try and colapse so dont push the lid on with your palm, push it down by using your thumbs and pointers and pinching it closed!

Food: the food was awesome!!!!! Best soup ive tried in oregon so far (tried probably 6 places) boyfriend got wonton i got tomka

Gluten free: they have gluten free items marked on the menu!!!!! One page was just gluten free things !!!! Other alergens are also marked but this is a life saver for gluten sensitive people.

Service: The younger kid wasnt hearing me and didnt get us the root beer or the potstickers we ordered. But the gentleman (i think was the owner) came over and made sure we were taken care of. He was kind, and helpful and checked on us the perfect amount. Felt like a family buisness. Or atleast a crew that treats eachother like family. This is absolutely an enviornment i feel should be highly encouraged. Will absolutely come here again.

Overall: places like this need to be preserved. Amazing food, family values. 10/10. Support them,...

This is my favorite restaurant, we eat here 3 times a week. Unfortunately today, I ordered to go food, was told 25 minute wait, and was asked to sit in my car and wait, 49 minutes later, I received my 2 pork bowls and soup and got back to my work of course LATE!!!! only to find my pork bowls with 3-4 very small chopped up pieces of pork, when normally there is a ton of meat... sad because we were still excited to get to work to eat our pork bowls, but when we opened the container... disappointment. I should have taken a picture, If I wanted a container of noodles, I would have ordered it that way. I understand hard times with covid, and restaurants, but I ordered to go for that reason. The time was a bummer, but had the food been as good or better than normal, the time would not have mattered!!!! and totally different review. I hope they will pay closer attention to the food, as customers who love this place will wait if the quality and expectation was met...
