My husband and I have enjoyed taking our kids here for the last 5 years. We like to bring bread and feed the ducks. There is one in particular that is a different species of duck than the rest; he is bigger, with extra nodules on top of his beak, and he is super friendly and will almost come right up to you and wags his tail feathers when he's happy. My older daughter named him Henry, though he wasn't there the last time we went. I'm not sure why or if he'll be back. There was more garbage than usual and a lot of oil spread throughout the wetlands last time....
Read moreI feel super blessed to live right next to this wetlands. So many birds, frogs, and a handful of nutria here (would like to see them relocated, or eradicated due to the erosion issues they cause). Let's not forget "Bob", the friendly resident Darth Maul looking Moscovy duck!
