After seeing videos of the food here on social media, I decided to get some food for my husband and I. I placed an order around 12pm for a 4pm pickup on GrubHub. I was driving home from VA and figured I'd stop here on the way home. I arrived around 430pm, just to be told that they didn't have my order. I showed them the details of my GrubHub order and that it was pad for, but they still couldn't find it. One of the nice young ladies at the front went back to talk to the owner/manager/cook(Mike/Rob, not sure which one). He proceeded to tell her that on the weekends, they don't do take GrubHub orders. He said he didn't care that I placed an order 4hrs ago on GrubHub because they have it turned off.
The young lady was able to retrieve my order from the system and said they'd make it. A short time afterwards, she asked if I had canceled my order in GrubHub because it showed it was canceled. Mike or Rob said that he canceled it because they don't do GrubHub orders on the weekends and that I'd have to wait for it.
During this wait, either Mike or Rob told the girls to turn off the phones for 30min because they were too backed up with orders. There were also no pizza orders that could be taken. I had to wait for it until about 545pm, roughly 1hr15min later.
Once I got home, my husband and I got to eat. With all the above mentioned, the food was phenomenal. My husband got the Baci, I got the Chicken Vodka Parm Sandwich, and we shared the Fried Asiago Gnocchi.
Food was definitely 10/10. Service was 2/5, because of how Mike or Rob said they didn't care how I placed an order ahead of time. There was a different way that could've been handled. The 2/5 is only because the nice young ladies working the front were helpful and pleasant. I felt bad for them having to deal with that and all the customers they had at that time.
I'm not sure that I would return here. I'm a firm believer that it doesn't matter how good your product is, if you don't care about the customer than nothing...

FULL REVIEW: I was really hopeful we were going to find our "go to spot", unfortunately it was a fail. First impressions were going good. I was greeted right away and my food was ready although I had to give every item I ordered because the person at the counter could not understand the name the order was under. Still, they were pleasant, so points there. All good though I was excited to try the food so I let that go. First things first was the garlic cheese curds! I did say garlic right? Not any garlic on these darn things! Not inside, not on the outside. Oh well, at least I have cheese curds. Now for the $10 fries! I asked for cheese on the side. It was on the side as asked for, points for that! I could get more fries for $5 at McDonald's then I got here, and they would taste better and not have a freezer flavor to them! I do like the cheese sauce though. Ok strike 2. Let's hope The Big Guy cheese steak would be a hit. It's hard to find a good steak in this area so my expectations were low. They delivered on the the name! This thing was huge! We opted for fried onions and mushrooms. Onions were fried right and mushrooms were good. They weren't mixed into the steak, just laying on top. Eh ok. We also opted for the garlic bread roll. Wrong move! I think they used all the garlic from my so called garlic curds on the bread plus whatever other garlic they could find on the roll. I couldn't taste the steak with all that garlic! I understand when you order garlic bread you want garlic, but there is a thing called balance when cooking. There was no balance at all here! For a $45 to turn out to be well below average is very disappointing. I can't recommend this place to anyone based on this meal. I don't see how this place gets...

I donāt write reviews often, but when something hits on this level, you give credit where itās due. I had the cheesesteak with Cooper sharp, fried onions, on garlic bread⦠paired with truffle fries. Simple setup, but what they delivered was anything but average.
From the first glance at the packaging, you could see the pride. Everything was tight. Clean. Purposeful. You donāt see that too often anymore most spots are just pushing food out. Thereās care in the process. Thereās intention.
The cheesesteak? Massive. Iām a big guy, and I opened the box like, āDamn⦠where do I start?ā It ran from the size of my fist all the way down to my elbow. Heavy. Loaded. But balanced ā not just sloppy excess. Every bite tasted like someone in the kitchen gave a damn.
The fries? Truffle done right. Crisp. Hot. Seasoned with thought, not just tossed in oil and forgotten.
Iām big on supporting real spots ā mom and pop joints that put the work in and stay true to quality. Crocheās isnāt just another sandwich shop ā itās a South Jersey staple in the making. Whatever the team is doing, they need to keep doing it exactly like this.
I saw their rating at 4.4 ā no way. This is a 5.0 experience all day. These are the kinds of businesses we need to protect. Real food. Real effort. Real value.
Salute...
