While I was coming back from DC to Richmond, I was basically stranded in the middle 95 south bound as my car starting smoking flame, and I was still about 50 miles away from Richmond downtown where I currently live. As a grown up man, I knew that I got to figure out everything by myself, but a little help was always welcome. Couple of minutes later, a car pulled up, and a gentleman offered a help to me. I was seriously blow away how humanity wasn't over yet, and there is still a little humanity left in this world. Upon his quick analysis, he stated that my car had a radiator problem or possibly there might have been radiator broken, so it causing the antifreeze leaking in my car. Since I just recently moved to Richmond, I had no idea where to take my car 10 pm at night even though I had called for a tow truck. Listening to circumstances, he gave me his business card , and I towed my car there. Next morning, I was expecting heavy price quote since my car was towed in and that's the time business would thrive on the revenue. To my surprise, they gave me fair price quote for a repair which was under $300. They also stated that whenever they perform any repair work, it comes with a warranty. That means that my radiator will have 12K miles or 12 months warranty. However, more than that I would like associated with a business where there is still little humanity left rather than with some greedy business culprits.I am really thankful to the gentlemen, Marvin, who assisted me in the 95 South bound. Franks auto service has been a great shop to my family, I grew up as a northern girl whose father owned a shop, and I learned growing up about a car a little bit from my dad shop ,I am a 50 year old women with 2 kids and a lot of times in past at different shop when I would bring my cars in I would talk to the mechanics and they would always be rude and disrespectful and bypass me and go right to my husband because he a guy and to be honest my husband knowledge about cars is basically start the car and put gas in it ,I would always have to wait for tge other shops to have to call my husband and tell him we'll basically she was right but by them I felt disrespected NEVER at FRANKS have they ever done this .The first time I walked in the door, they were very respectful I told them what I thought was wrong with the car and actually listened to me and heard what i had to say never dismissed me because Iwas a girl ,later they called me and said very respectfully that what I thought was wrong was correct and they will start fixing it ,when I picked up my car the work was perfect ,they are so polite and professional and I finally feel like I found a shop that...
