Allow me to tell you about my horribly disturbing experience at the Stuart Crossing location. I ordered 2 cheeseburgers and fries for my wife and I through the app. Upon arrival, I walked in and there was no one in line and a handful of people waiting for their order. There were two people finishing up the burgers and one rude, disrespectful heavy set older woman. I waited at the 'Pick Up Here' sign and was promptly ignored multiple times. I get it - its busy, its almost at the end of the night, BUT this was different. She passed probably 3-4 orders right past my face without even acknowledging my presence or asking if I was here to remodel their kitchen or pick up an order. It felt deliberate and I felt humiliated as I tried to politely get her attention but everytime she passed an order by me, thanked someone for their business, she quickly turned around and sprinted back to avoid conversation. It wasn't until the person wrapping up the burgers said "uhhh you hear for a web order?" I responded yes and sure enough....my order, now cold was sitting on the table where the lady walked by no less than 10-15 times as I stood there for about 5-7 minutes...the most embarrassing, humiliatingly long 5-7 minutes when my order had been ready before I even walked in the door. The guy that finally acknowledged my presence hastily through fries in the bag and again...noticeably less than any single person that went before me. Why was I singled out? This felt deliberate and unfair. Is this how your staff treats people? Obviously not, because everyone else got kindness and courtesy but I got ignored. I'll never encourage anyone to eat here based on this experience and I live 5 min...
Read moreWhat has happened to these guys, 3 must have quit! Not only was the food not as good as it once was but it cost almost $29 for two people! Here's the order to put it into perspective, two cheeseburgers, one was a large, small ff, two regular drinks, that's it. Fries were greasy, cold, cheese was cold not melted, burgers were over cooked and had chips of other burgers on top. Plus it looked like grill scrap on them. Q BBQ across the street has much better cheeseburgers an it's a BBQ joint! I'm done with them, second attempt at this location to see if they had fixed quality issues, instead it's worse. They raised prices and lower quality, way to go Five Guys! I gave them two stars because the peanuts are great and still free and the tea was pretty good . Other than that, it was bad, especially for what it cost. Other thing I noticed was the lack of patrons, 6pm and the place was a quarter full. Never a good sign in a high volume area. Wish it could have been a better review but as the old ump said, "I call'em...
Read moreI just have to say: I just moved to the neighborhood and after visits to various restaurants in the area, I’ve been pretty disappointed. Tonight I went to Tropical Smoothie where they told me they couldn’t make my smoothie because they didn’t have a working blender, they couldn’t make my Buffalo chicken wrap, and then they wouldn’t give me my money back. They straight up tried to rob me, and were blatant and rude about it. Very rude. So I said, “Ya know what? Ima go to Five Guys.” I walk in, I’m immediately greeted with a pleasant, respectful, and helpful attitude and smile. I felt welcomed, they made my food to order and put it in my hands and thanked me and told me to have a good evening. Things that are as simple as pleasant and friendly customer service go a long way, and reflect how a business SHOULD be ran! Shout out to the employees and managers of the VC Five Guys for being one of the few restaurants in the neighborhood doing things right! Y’all run a tight ship and I thank you for making my...
