Intermission Beer Company - Arcade & Brewpub — Restaurant in Glen Allen

First, let me share that the service was the best that we've gotten in a very long time. You can tell that they care about their customers, their location, the food they put out, and of course, their beer.

Second, I was here for the beer. And it did not disappoint. I've been to their other location before, so I tried some new things. I had a West Coast IPA, as well as a Irish Red, and both were gluten reduced. They were phenomenal, and you can find my full reviews on untapped.

Third, the food was great! My wife has Celiac and they had plenty of things that she could have. This included a gluten-free pizza, tater tots, and a cake. We were there for a snack, so we got the load at tots and they were good. I was a little hungrier then the rest, so I got their tavern pizza with pepperoni and it was delicious. My daughter got their pretzel sticks, and they took, were amazing. Fun fact: everything is baked so you do not have to worry about cross-contamination in a fryer.

Fourth, the location is awesome! We played air hockey, Skee-Ball and several pinball games. Everything was clean and worked well. My 8-year-old absolutely had a blast. Such a great idea to mix this up because my wife and I were able to drink while the kids played.

Great place to have some very good craft beer and enjoy some arcade games. We stopped in for lunch and discovered a few great beers brewed by this company. The Intermission ArtoberFest was so good, I bought a 4 pack to enjoy more of it later. We had pizza and salad for lunch. The pizza was made in a pizza oven that we could see from our seats at the bar. It was just okay. The salad had fresh ingredients and tasted great. The taproom was spotlessly clean. Everything looked new and well-maintained, including the restrooms. We checked out the games, but unfortunately none took quarters to play. They required the purchase of a game card, which we didn't bother with. We loved the concept of games like these at a brewery, however. It's perfect for families. Parents could buy a card and let the kids play what they want while the adults...

They have turned the Old Cici's into a great establishment. We came with a big party and had a really good time. Heard mixed things about the beer, but mostly more on the positive side. Service was great! Just a few ladies working and they were busting humps, great staff, then owners should be very proud of them! The food in my opinion was good. I didn't care for their pizza crust that much but the pretzels and a few other items we had were really good. They have a few really cool pinball machines which for me is a real positive. I also have a few other arcade games for the kids to play. Pretty open area with lots of seating. I think it's more of a bar field and a true Brewery, but that just may be me. I definitely would...
