Wawa — Restaurant in Virginia

We stopped here with a school bus full of hungry customers. Upon our arrival, tim, a Manger informed us that they did not have 'bus' parking. We were parked in the back and out of the way (another thing tim had a problem with.) tim was extremely rude and unprofessional telling us if we did not leave he would call the police. If we did not have the bus unloaded and high schoolers in the middle of getting their order we would have just left. Even after attempting to calm tim down and reason with him he continued to be rude, demanding and unwelcoming. When we called corporate they said we were welcome to park there as long as we wanted. Even after getting off the phone with corporate tim still insisted they did not have 'bus' parking and that we needed to move. I have been to a lot of wawas and parked many large vehicles, including 18 wheelers, and no one has ever had a problem as long as we parked out of the way. Hands down our worst wawa experience after hundreds of positive wawa experiences. After such a confusing experience we can't help but wonder if tim's treatment of us was racially motivated. This Wawa on Sliding Hill in Ashland needs serious improvement..There was a girl making sandwiches; all she was doing was complaining the whole time. I was standing within earshot when I heard her say she thinks a customer is dumb for wanting something on their sandwich, and she kept complaining about her life. She was telling her coworker she wishes she didn’t have to work and saying she hates Wawa and that she just wants a paycheck. When I told her I didn’t like to hear her complaining, she said, “You can walk away; quit being nosy.” I was waiting on food NOT being nosy. She really needs to tone herself down and quit with all the negativity. I spoke to a manager briefly about her, and management wasn’t much better. The manager made it seem like they couldn’t get better help and that they just had to take what they could get. I’m sure they could get someone that actually cares. She was so disgusting and rude. Man, I would have fired her in a heartbeat. She continues talking like that and loudly due to the fact that management won't discipline her. “We have to take what we can get” give me a break.. such...

If you are looking to only get gas with a debit card this is the place for you, but if you are intending on going in be prepared to wait in a slow moving line. It doesn’t matter if you are the only person in line or the 8 person in line you are going to be there no less the three minutes. If you order food don’t specialize your order because they don’t pay any attention. I have gotten the biscuits and gravy 3 times now and all three times the didn’t put extra gravy on it like I payed for. Now the second time I ask and they fixed it promptly. The third Tim I asked without looking at it and the said yes. So I trusted them and left when I later opened it I found that that had lied to me. I’m not a very picky person but if I pay for extra stuff I expect to get what I pay for. I will continue to go to Wawa but I will go out of my way to avoid this wawa...
