Hardee’s — Restaurant in Glen Carbon

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Very bad experience today 4/19/25. I went through the drive and ordered a Chicken Quesadilla, Taco and a drink priced at $8.09 + tax on their signboard. I paid for the order and pulled away from the window to allow others to get their orders. In the parking lot I noticed that I received french fries, not a taco. So, I pulled back around to where you order and said that a mistake had been made that I got the wrong food and to give me a taco. I was told that I received the correct food. This "discussion" continued and finally I invited the order taker to come out and see the sign. They saw the sign (picture attached) and called their boss Josh. While they were on the phone, I noticed that they had charged me $1.20 more than the sign posted for a bill of $9.29 + tax. (picture attached) I was told that Josh said to come back tomorrow, Easter, to "talk" about it. Why wasn’t someone with authority available then? Why didn’t he talk to me then on the phone? The problem is that I was in town on business and I live a 1/2 hour away, 1 hour round trip. The worst part is that last summer, a similar experience happened to me at this location, this is the second time. The first time I blew that experience off. This appears to be an ongoing problem with this location. Maybe it's why the company is in dire straits financially. So, it's time to escalate, leave a review, plus contact corporate. To think if they just gave me the taco initially, like the sign said, I wouldn't have noticed being charged the wrong price and would have continued down the road...

This is the most poorly run Hardees in all of the company. Hardees is my favorite fast food restaurant but everytime I go to the Glen Carbon location, there is ALWAYS something off about my order or experience. Just over the last month, I have gotten old frys, a chewy spicy chicken, chicken tenders that aren’t cooked fully, soggy buns, soda that the syrup was out, toppings on burger that I asked without, grease and condiments all over the OUTSIDE of the wrapping, hard biscuit, unfriendly service, cooks not wearing gloves, and speed of service lacking. Recently, everytime I visit, I order something different because I don’t want to relive the issues they had previous. I’m finished going to that location and I hope they get their act together, train the employees to do well instead of half-assed, and management be held...

I went to Hardees in Glenn carbon today and the person name Brandi whom said she was the manager told me they are only honoring the app on a tuesday. I told her my coupon says till Dec 11 and she said her store is not honoring it. Update I contacted the district manager later that day she said there was a break in communication and that she would talk to her branch and to go back the next day for my meal. She also said she would send me a coupon. I went back the next day. The manager Brandi had been made aware of how the Tuesday app worked and I received the meal.
