I just went through the drive thru and had a horrible customer service experience with Mackenzie. I cannot fairly rate the food because I decided to write this review instead of eating because of how rude Mackenzie was. I ordered two sandwiches, two hash browns, churros and a breakfast platter. I asked for strawberry and grape jelly as well as ketchup and syrup when I paid. When I checked my bag I had ONE pack of each sauce. I sat at the window waiting to get her attention… after a few seconds I beeped my horn (in a friendly way.) No response; even though I was looking at her. I beeped my horn once more, no response. I honked my horn for several seconds because surely she would hear that since again, I was still looking at her… NOTHING.
So I sat. She came to make the next card drinks and couldn’t ignore me at that point so she opens the window and said “Yes?” I said, “May I have the sauces I asked for please.” She quickly replied “They're in the bag.” I said “There is ONE pack of each, I have 3 bags of food.” As I was speaking she grab ONE additional pack of grape and strawberry jelly and says, “HERE!” I said “I need more of EVERYTHING! Again, I have THREE bags of food!” She then says, “Look, we’re only allowed to give out a certain amount but HERE! Here!”
Hopefully this behavior is corrected. We’ve been living in Edwardsville for 6 years and there have always been issues with this Jack n a Box location. Thankfully I’ve never experienced service this terrible but again, hopefully the manager has a serious conversation with Mackenzie and explains the importance of good...
Read moreWent there on 10/14 around 9pm with my two children. I asked for 3 of the 5.99 combos double not triple. I paid $23.74. When order came up I was given 3 small burgers when I asked for drinks and fries I was told I didn't know you wanted the combo. Then the cashier was extremely rude when I said ok I will just take my money back then. She starred pacing and talking loud about that is not what I said. For one if she would have been paying attention to what I was saying instead of the guy behind her cooking she would have know what I was talking about. All I said was that my exact words were I would like the $6 combos double one regular two plain. She continued to pace and mumble ignorant things because I reused to pay the same price for 3 little burgers then 3 combos. As I am walking out the building she proceeds to yell go get a job you won't be broke. Yes I lost my patience at that point. I work full time and so does my spouse. Why would I pay the same price for a burger instead of a full combo. Terrible experience and it looks like the did the return to my account and then charged me again. I will be calling the store manger tomorrow to make sure I am...
Read moreWent thru the drive thru. Orded 2 chicken sandwiches, 2 medium sodas & a small cup of water for my dog. Order taker repeated order to me. When I got to the window, I paid for my order. The person working window gave me the ice water and 1 soda. I asked about the other soda. She said I only ordered 1 small soda. I said I needed my other soda. She got the manager. Manager asked me what the problem was. I told her and ssked for my other soda. She asked me to hand back the soda I had been given. I did and then she asked for $4.48. I asked what for, since I had already paid. She said that was the cost of 2 medium sodas. She handed me a dollar bill and $1.08 in change--a refund for the soda she took back. Frustrated, I gave up, took my chicken sandwiches and told them never mind.
I went to KFC down the street and bought 2 medium sodas, no problem.
When my companion & I got home, we found burgers in our bag instead of chicken sandwiches. We ate the burgers, which weren't bad, and drank our KFC sodas. Next time I want a chicken sandwich in the Glen Carbon/Edwardsville area, I'll just go to KFC. They know how fill the drink order and they're pretty good with...
