My family and I usually go to the location in Wheaton off of Butterfield but came to this location today for lunch. We like to come here for their hot and sour soup because it’s one of the few places that don’t use any animal/chicken broth and is vegetarian friendly.
When we got the order the soup was incredibly salty. So we told our server, Alissa, about it and she was really kind to take it off our bill. But not only that she went above and beyond by having the chef work to fix the issue and brought out a small sample for us to taste to see if it was better. Not only that but she then gave us a small container of the soup to go after hearing that we like to come for the soup.
Beyond that the crab rangoon was very tasty as was the sushi. But the service that we got from Alissa was legit 6 stars. She kept checking on us but most importantly she did so with a smile and genuine kindness. In this day and age that’s really rare and you can tell that she’s sincerely a good person who wishes well for others. There was not a moment where she didn’t approach us with a smile and she is the reason why I took time out to write this review. The qualities that she has are so rare and can’t be taught and she should be recognized for it. Will definitely be back here and would recommend you try it too and if you’re lucky enough to have her as your server then you’ll enjoy your visit here...
Read moreWent in for a Monday Dinner date, we were seated quickly but it took half an hour to take our order, and another 40 minutes for our food to come when we were waiting the server blamed the kitchen for our food twice, the first time when my partner went to the bathroom and I was alone and the second time when they brought out the rolls and the Crunchy roll that we ordered came out as a Godzilla roll. We ordered one coke and one Sprite, and they were flat and left a weird texture in our mouths. We mentioned the incorrect roll to our server, who then had the kitchen fix it. At this point, we had noticed several tables being apologized for the amount of waiting time and orders being incorrect. On a hunch, we looked at reviews for this place and noticed that many of the low score reviews reflected the same issues we experienced. We were unsatisfied with our experience, so we asked for the check and left. We noticed our server, who had been missing most of the time, was hovering near our table. When we left the restaurant, the server attempted to insult us for not being more generous. Please don't be fooled by the 5 star reviews. You may notice that they are from local guides and not more ordinary people like you. Save yourself...

I talked to the receptionist twice about the mistake and both times she promised me it would be there in minutes.. sorry she was incorrect both time and held up our family's dinner..the restaurant is only a mile away and it's been over 40 minutes now.. so I drive up there. I'm a disabled veteran who walks with a cane for my actions overseas and was in no mood to play games anymore especially after I asked the receptionist not to lie to me twice. Once I got up to the restaurant and things were sorted out and the mistake was found and corrected immediately. they replaced my entire dinner for for free and my family received a free bottle of soy sauce.. not that's what we were asking for..the message here and my wife and I are business owners. Find the error, fix it on the spot and make sure your satisfying not only your customers but your employees also, they will never leave you disappointed. Either one .. The restaurant, the owner and the food was absolutely amazing and looking forward to a indoor sit down dinner...
