Traditional Italian Deli — Restaurant in Glen Ridge

Sometimes I just really need a sub, and then I remember the deli that I like on Bloomfield Ave has no parking and I don't feel like making the trek. But not anymore! Because I found this little gem, not even 5 minutes away from me. And they have a PARKING LOT. And they nailed it.

I got a Turkey, salami & provolone with lettuce (they use romaine) and tomato - it was awesome and very filling. My friend got a hot chicken cutlet sub with fresh mozz and it was YUM. I was a little jealous, although you can't really compare a Turkey sandwich to that. We also split some sausage, peppers & onions which we both agreed was fire. They have a nice variety of chips and drinks, prepared deli foods, and they're stocked with some imported Italian products like pastas, cookies, sodas etc.

And to top it all off, the employees were very attentive, kind & fast! Turns out they opened up in November of 2020 but I would have never known. They'll keep getting my business, and I hope they get a little more recognition because they definitely deserve it.

Plus I like having a good deli around the corner from me so please check this place out and support them so...

Amazing Deli..... Amazing Prices. I stepped into this little gem of Italian Flare and instantly got excited. The aromas of the salads and meats are a blessing welcome to a hungry stomach. You are pleasently greeted by staff members and left to marvel at the beautiful decor.

The Menu is full of wonder and full combinations that all sound great. The Michael Anthony was a 5 Star sandwich. You can tell nothing is frozen. The Chicken was Fresh and hot. The Fresh Mozzarella was well balanced; firm but creamy, perfectly salty. The greens are tossed with the balsamic viniger which leads to the fresh Hero Roll to hold up to their massive sandwiches.

As a person who can eat, this sandwich is a hard 1 sit and finish. The fact that the Heros run for under 10 dollars and can be easily eaten twice is an amazing deal. It can be hard to find a Great, Fresh, and Fair Priced sandwich. This place succeeds in glamorous fashion. I for sure will be frequenting this location when...

I have come here on numerous occasions but just to get a can of Coca Cola on my way to work. The staff was always so polite to me and treated me like my business meant so much to them even though it was just a can a soda. Today, I was in the mood for a meatball sub and usually, I go to Subway. But I said to myself-oh my goodness, let me get go to the deli I get my Coca Cola from! I want to support a small business.
