I went today for my birthday. Every year, I visit a different escape room, and this one was easily the worst (Witches Revenge). First, we found the first puzzle and the solution, but nothing happened.
We spent 5 minutes asking for clues, but nobody answered. When they finally replied, the clue was just a repeat of what we already knew. After another 5 or 10 minutes, they sent us the code for the lock that we had already figured out.
When the clock showed 35 minutes remaining, someone walked into the room and said they had forgotten to set up that puzzle, which is why the code didn't work. This led us to the next puzzle, the one with the small wooden boxes on a string. Once again, we solved it in less than a minute, but then...nothing happened. After 20 minutes of ignoring our requests for clues, someone came into the room, explained that âit has to be very precise,â and struggled for another minute or two to open the box, even though they had the solution.
After that, we managed to open one or two other locks, but we were already frustrated. We lost 20 minutes because they had forgotten to set up one of the locks, and another 20 minutes because âit has to be very precise,â and even they couldnât open the box. In the end, $100 was wasted.
The worst part is that the website has great reviews, but I think this is a new attraction that needs some improvements. The holiday might have made them busy, which could explain why our requests for clues went unanswered. It looks like a really nice place, but I donât feel comfortable spending another $100 only to end up...
Read moreVisited this escape room and didnât have a great experience. Me and my cousin payed 70 dollars and did the Witch themed room. Firstly, the room seemed really difficult which was fine, but then we got stuck for about 15 minutes, only to be told by the leader that a special tool had been missing from a box and that was needed to move forward. He apologizes and says the last leader who âclosedâ must have forgotten to reset the room properly. He returns with the special tool but decided to give us a little extra time which was well appreciated. We then get stuck again and this time it is because a box got stuck and would not open, despite the pattern being correct and the leader double checking. We step out so he can manually open the box, and then he apologizes saying the room is new and sorry about the technical difficulties. In the end, we had missed so many clues because of the delays that he basically had to help us solve most of the room. We sort of complained that we werenât satisfied with the room and the leader said he would put us in âGold Rushâ for free which was also much appreciated. While completing gold rush we only got stuck Once and this was because a special piece was missing Once again which he apologized for and said the âCloserâ did a really bad job resetting these rooms. In the end, we really appreciate this worker being kind, but because of the rooms not being reset properly, and pieces missing from them, we Definitely will not...
Read moreThe escape room was a lot of fun. We got the Space room and that was definitely interesting, though I think I would have enjoyed Grail or saloon room more.
My group had to save the planet from asteroids by activating weapons. we were here as part of a Yelp event and there were only 6 people in a group (less crowd-more coordination).
Staff instructed us clearly on 'To-Do's like don't touch the pinks, wave at the camera if you need the hint. Rules are clearly mentioned in the main hall.
We entered and struggled a bit in the starting, touching everything, pressing all buttons like this is a real scenario (lol). We escaped the first level in 20 minutes and then entered the second room and we managed to find 3 keys that will trigger the exit door. We escaped both rooms in 37 minutes. Staff said- it was 2nd toughest escape room they have.
Escape Room staff are all friendly and fun and love making your day happen, so super kudos to them. and yeah, group photo with cool captions at end of game - make sure you take the picture...
