Francesca Brick Oven Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Glen Rock

Update: We still love Franscesas but all of us must now have a stricter diet and I have to avoid gluten now. This means I cannot eat a lot of my favorites here.

We love this place the selection is pretty good but the panini and ranch pizzas, white pizzas and mozzarella sticks and their fries are by far their best if you can't eat tomatoes like I can not eat.

White pizzas are always fantastic and look kind of artsy most days which is nice

I recommend white pizza with mushrooms, onions and bell peppers, or get it with grilled or breaded chicken or eggplant, they are also nice just with broccoli or peppers,

I will try the gluten free options and see how they stack up to the classic fare here

The ranch pizza here is almost like art it is so yummy I break my diet for i sometimes we order a veggie pizza with no sauce and no tomato which I like for a change sometimes

Back when we could eat tomato I used to love almost everything on the menu parmesan and their mozzarella sticks were always fantastic their best, panini and their fries and breaded chicken.

Added note: We've gone here a lot of years and though I miss their excellent pasta primavera with chicken and Alfredo pasta my sibling and I used to get together and split both which was always a great filling meal for a treat I see they have these on their catering menu so maybe I will order that some day. Anyway they are truly a nice place with nice owners and good quality food. Nostalgic for me we started going here over...

What a great place! I have been ordering from Francesca for quite some time now and every time the food has been on time, hot, fresh and delicious. I recently put in a large order for my daughter’s birthday and if I’m being perfectly honest it just wasn’t the same as usual. It was late, the food was cold and they forgot parts of our order. I called and they apologized profusely and said that while it wasn’t an excuse, they just got slammed and were unhappy with themselves that our order wasn’t up to their (and our) usual standards. That night I was contacted by Sal (the owner). He was amazing. He really felt terrible about our meal and wanted to do whatever he could to make it right. He sent us a gift card to make up for our order. Most businesses and restaurants would make some excuse, not even care and leave it at that but not Sal. He is not only a great business man but just an all around good human. He cares about his restaurant and his customers even more. He made it right and we plan to be back frequently...

My second time here. The first time everything was delicious. This time not so much. Let me start with the bbq chicken pizza. I have to admit that it was my fault for not looking at the display case to see how it was prepared. White pizza with chicken- great… doused in bbq sauce out of a bottle - yuck. All of that delicious pizza ruined. I know it was delicious because I scraped the bbq sauce off of it. Now I’ve had bbq burgers and various bbq sandwiches so this pizza atrocity was not unpleasantly unexpected. We had a pizza with extra cheese as well and it was, thankfully, as expected. In addition, their bottled soda tasted expired. Loss of flavor and carbonation. The expiration date was less than a month away. Other sodas in the back were days away. Not sure what is going on there. Never had a bad bottle of soda...
