The Glen Rock Inn — Restaurant in Glen Rock

I don’t usual complain but wow, I went finished eating, paid and everything. Got a take away, went to the bathroom…and when I came back take away container was gone from the table. I asked what happened and the busboys initially say they aren’t sure but talk to each other and say they threw my food in the trash because no one was there, They say this in Spanish which they don’t know, that I know because my accent is European and strong. “I was in the bathroom and my shoes where at the table to show I had not left. 1 of them Digs it from the trash in the kitchen and brings it back to me like nothing happened and tells me it was on a counter. The waiter tried to help by saying she would place another order but at this point I don’t know if they would just throw back the food from the garbage and warm it up, put it into a container and say it’s fresh. It’s the principle. You can go back on your cameras this was around 9:30pm -9:40pm. 4th of November. I was having a good time till this happened. I was even telling my followers to come here. The Glen Rock Inn, sounds like a motel lol, but I assure you it is not. Its a small pub/restaurant, that reminds me of Cheers T.V. Show, where everybody knows your name. I must admit that good bands play here. This place has been here for awhile, its kind of a staple for Glen Rock residents. Every now and again they have bands come and play. Most of the time when the bands or entertainment is scheduled, they get a packed house. Its nice to have a place thats local that has venues like this. The food and staff are fun. I'd come back with friends to enjoy the pub. (There used to be another restaurant/pub not related to the Glen Rock Inn in Rochelle Park NJ called (The Junkyard), which also had awesome bands come and play on their stage upstairs, but unfortunately it closed down some years ago, but I do remember how fun it was to get everyone together to go for a fun night out back then...nowadays as we are older harder to get everyone out. The glen rock inn is a great bar/restaurant that recently underwent a renovation to make it even better. The cocktails are tasty. Large and diverse selection of craft beer. The food is awesome. Best wings hands down. The steak sandwich, chicken ranchero sandwich, mozzarella wedges, and salads are my favorite. The atmosphere is super cool laid back and quaint. Local bar vibes with a little something extra. They really put a lot of time and thought into all the small touches to make this atmosphere unique and fun. There are many tvs in the bar room and they are very accommodating with putting on any game you may want to watch. There is a separate room away from the bar for families or just a quiet date night. There is also an outdoor section for those like me who love eating outside. The service is great. Everyone who works there is very down to earth and great at what they do. The owners are always walking around chatting with people. You will feel comfortable whether you’re a Glen rock local or from 1000 miles away. I highly...
