Broadway Burger — Restaurant in Glendale

The food was overpriced and tasteless. I definitely mean, “tasteless.” I ordered a double cheeseburger and chili cheese fries with a soda. Came up to “$27.” I’m like, that’s alright, the food looks good from the photos. I get home, and I start digging into the food. The chili, tasted like nothing, so tasteless I thought I had a second round of COVID. The burger was a burger, very mid.

Anyways, it was my first and last time coming here. If you’re looking for a good spot for a burger, go with In N Out, hell even Burger King, quite honestly. I hate to be so negative, but this was the absolute worst tasting food I’ve had in years. Hmm, another suggestion, “Troy’s” has decent chili cheese fries, I won’t say the best but they at least have some taste.

Heck, I hate wasting money on bad food, this place is living rent free in my mind right now… very...

I looooove Broadway Burger; my problem is that it is impossible to get their hours. I drove their multiple times based on their posted hours on their window/online. They were always closed. I finally called and was told they changed their hours to close earlier at 4pm. I tried twice before 4pm and still they were closed. I tried at noon, for a normal lunch hour and they still were not open (I assumed closed for good). Fast forward to yesterday, Memorial Day, 5/30/2022, and a lady answered. I asked if they were open for the Holiday as well as when they planned on closing. She advised yes they were open until 9pm. My gut said to drive their immediately, but of course I didn’t, I decided on a 7pm dinner, arrived and closed. Disappointing, I wasn’t even angry, just extremely heartbroken. Stumbled on Broadway Burger on our way to watch a TV show taping. It was wonderful. We got there right before they switched from breakfast to lunch and I got the bacon and cheese burrito. First, it was juicy and really delicious, with egg, bacon, cheese, and hash browns. Second it was waaay too much for me to finish And finally for everything I got it was really inexpensive! My husband got the steak and egg platter. He really enjoyed it. It was plenty of food and he didn't even get the roast or eat the hash browns that came with it. The steak was cooked well, and it was also very reasonably priced!!! The service was great. The woman who rean.the counter was very nice and friendly! We will definitely go back for lunch next time...
